President Donald Trump has just announced that his administration has launched an investigation into liberal billionaire George Soros over his role in funding violent leftist groups.
Trump warned that Soros and his network are facing racketeering charges under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Speaking on “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning, Trump tied the probe directly to the wave of violent unrest gripping the country.
“We’re going to look into Soros because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people because this is more than like protests,” Trump said.
“This is real agitation,” the president noted.
“This is riots on the street.”

The president’s comments came after he confirmed that the assassin who murdered conservative leader Charlie Kirk is now “in custody.”
Trump: ‘A Dark Moment For America’
On Wednesday night, just hours after Kirk was killed by a sniper at Utah Valley University, Trump addressed the nation from the Oval Office.
Calling it a “dark moment for America,” the president vowed to crack down on radical Left movements that have fueled chaos and death across U.S. cities.

The following evening, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and more than two dozen lawmakers echoed Trump’s call, demanding a congressional select committee to investigate the “money, influence, and power behind the radical Left’s assault on America and the rule of law.”
“Enough is enough,” the lawmakers wrote.
“We must follow the money to identify the perpetrators of the coordinated anti-American assaults being carried out against us and take all steps under the law necessary to stop them.”

Soros And The Dark-Money Network
Trump has long criticized Soros and his son Alex for bankrolling far-left causes.
Weeks before Kirk’s assassination, he wrote on Truth Social that the pair “should be charged with RICO because of their support of violent protests.”
The Soros network is at the center of what watchdogs call the country’s sprawling dark-money machine.
Through a complex web of tax-exempt charities and non-tax-exempt 501(c)(4) entities, billions have flowed into local activist groups that organize protests, bail rioters out of jail, sue police departments, push mass immigration, advance drug decriminalization, and elect district attorneys who decline to prosecute violent offenders.
The Open Society Foundations alone span multiple legal entities.
Other pillars of the system include the Pritzker family-backed Tides Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, NEO Philanthropy, the Ford Foundation, and networks tied to left-wing billionaire Neville Singham.
Money moves from mega-donors into nonprofits, then into political arms, and finally into radical groups that could never qualify for charity status on their own.
Using fiscal sponsorship loopholes, these groups hide their operations behind parent organizations, making it nearly impossible for the public to track where the money truly goes.
Critics argue the effect is the creation of a parallel government in the form of a billionaire-funded shadow system advancing radical policies the American people never voted for.
Bill Gates Severs Ties, Pressure Builds
One of the network’s most powerful vehicles, Arabella Advisors, recently lost a major donor when Bill Gates pulled funding.
Observers say the move reflects growing pressure on global elites to distance themselves from Soros-style activism as scrutiny intensifies.
Trump’s messaging now signals his administration may be prepared to do what no one else has by holding the billionaire class accountable for fueling what supporters describe as “civil terrorism” and foreign-backed subversion of American liberty.
For years, critics warned about Soros and the dark-money NGO sphere.
Now, with Kirk’s assassination shaking the country, Trump has signaled the reckoning may finally have begun.
