The Trump administration has unveiled a striking new feature on the West Wing colonnade, revealing a row of framed portraits of America’s past presidents, collectively dubbed “The Presidential Walk of Fame.”
But one image in particular is drawing attention.
Alongside Trump’s own images, presidents from George Washington to Barack Obama appear in traditional black-and-white portraits.
However, the display for former President Joe Biden does not show his face at all.
Instead, Biden’s frame contains a photo of an autopen, the device used by handlers to replicate his signature on official documents.
Alongside a video of the exhibit, Assistant to the President Margo Martin posted on X:
“The Presidential Walk of Fame has arrived on the West Wing Colonnade.”
Adding a pen emoji, she teased, “Wait for it…” as the camera revealed Biden’s unusual display.
WATCH:
The only president without his likeness represented, Biden’s absence was intentional.
When asked by The Daily Caller earlier this month whether he would include a portrait of Biden, Trump replied:
“Isn’t that an interesting question…
“We put up a picture of the autopen.”
Trump wasn’t joking, however.
A White House photo even showed him examining his own two portraits, placed on either side of Biden’s autopen frame.
All of the portraits are black-and-white images encased in gold frames, with the words “The Presidential Walk of Fame” written above in gold lettering.
Biden’s office has not issued a response.
The decision quickly lit up conservative circles online, with many applauding the symbolic jab.
Commentator Link Lauren wrote on X:
“President Trump putting a picture of the autopen instead of Biden is one of the many reasons I love that man.
“It’s also accurate,” she noted.
“Joseph ‘Autopen’ Biden, the 46th President of the United States.”
Rogan O’Handley, known to his followers as DC Draino, added:
“This is hilarious. President Autopen has been officially recognized!”
The new colonnade display is one of the first symbolic renovations of Trump’s second administration.
The move underscores the president’s sharp critiques of Biden while cementing his own place in the hall of America’s leaders.
