Former CNN host Brian Stelter has landed a new teaching job at Harvard after he was sent packing by the cable network during a long-overdue shakeup.
After recently being taken over by a new parent company, CNN’s bosses are trying to get the failing network back to respectability.
He will be the Walter Shorenstein Media and Democracy Fellow at Harvard where he will continue to push the low-rated narratives that cost him his job.
CNN’s new ownership group is led by a billionaire Trump donor John Malone.
Malone had grown tired of the partisan direction the network took during the Trump years.
Stelter announced his new gig in a post on Twitter.
“Personal news: Iโm joining the @ShorensteinCtr at Harvard Kennedy School,” Stelter tweeted on Monday.
“This fall Iโll be the Walter Shorenstein Media and Democracy Fellow, convening discussions, some of which will be live-streamed.
“Grateful to @nancygibbs and her team for the home!โ

โThe Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School is pleased to announce that Brian Stelter will join the center as the Fall 2022 Walter Shorenstein Media and Democracy Fellow.
โThe Walter Shorenstein Media and Democracy Fellowship brings high-profile figures at the forefront of media, politics, and public policy to Harvardโs Kennedy School to work with students, faculty, scholars, and the public on important issues of the moment.
โAs the Walter Shorenstein Fellow, Stelter will convene a series of discussions about threats to democracy and the range of potential responses from the news media.
โThese discussions with media leaders, policymakers, politicians, and Kennedy School students, fellows, and faculty will help deepen public and scholarly understanding about the current state of the information ecosystem and its impacts on democratic governance.

โHe is a producer on Appleโs drama ‘The Morning Show,’ which is inspired by the book.
โIn 2020 he also executive produced the HBO Documentary, ‘After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News,’ directed by Andrew Rossi, who featured Stelter in his 2011 documentary, ‘Page One: Inside the New York Times’,โ the center said.
