President Donald Trump has issued “full, complete, and unconditional” pardons to dozens of individuals prosecuted for their efforts to challenge the 2020 election.
The pardons were revealed in a proclamation released Sunday night by U.S. Pardon Attorney Ed Martin.
Martin posted the document on X, revealing pardons for 77 named individuals.
Those named included former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and attorney Sidney Powell.
Many are expecting that more related pardons will follow.
The proclamation explicitly states that the list is “not limited to” those names.

According to the text, Trump’s order applies broadly:
Pardons are granted “to all United States citizens for conduct relating to the advice, creation, organization, execution, submission, support, voting, activities, participation in, or advocacy for or of any slate or proposed slate of Presidential electors, whether or not recognized by any State or State official, in connection with the 2020 Presidential Election, as well for any conduct relating to their efforts to expose voting fraud and vulnerabilities in the 2020 Presidential Election.”
The sweeping language effectively covers nearly all conduct tied to alternate elector slates and post-election investigations pursued by Trump allies.
Many of those individuals have faced state and federal charges in the years since.
Trump framed the action as necessary to restore fairness after what he views as politically motivated prosecutions:
“This proclamation ends a grave national injustice perpetrated upon the American people following the 2020 Presidential Election and continues the process of national reconciliation,” the document reads.
The proclamation was posted as a response to a May 26, 2025, message Martin previously shared on X that read: “No MAGA left behind.”

Trump also made clear he did not include himself in the pardons.
The move represents one of the most sweeping acts of clemency in modern presidential history and immediately sparked debate in Washington.
Critics are claiming it undermines ongoing prosecutions in several states.
Yet, supporters are calling the pardons long-overdue justice.
