President Donald Trump has told reporters that the results of his recent MRI scan were “perfect.”
The president emphasized that his medical evaluations continue to show he’s in excellent health.
“It was perfect, yeah,” Trump said Monday while speaking with reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Tokyo.
“I mean, I gave you the full results,” he added.
“We had an MRI and the machine, you know, the whole thing.
“And it was perfect.”

Trump, 79, was the oldest person ever inaugurated as president when he returned to the White House in January.
He remains the second-oldest person to serve in the office.
Earlier this month, the president’s physician, Navy Capt. Sean P. Barbabella, released a statement following Trump’s routine semiannual physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Barbabella described the president as being in “exceptional health.”
He said Trump “remains in exceptional health, exhibiting strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.”
The physician also noted that the president received updated flu and Covid vaccinations in preparation for international travel.
The October examination marked Trump’s second medical evaluation of the year.
A similar assessment conducted in April found that he “remains in excellent health.”
In July, the White House disclosed that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition in which veins in the legs have difficulty returning blood to the heart.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president experienced “mild swelling” in his lower legs and was evaluated by the White House medical unit.
Leavitt also addressed photos showing bruising on the president’s hand, explaining that it was the result of “frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin.”
Trump takes aspirin as part of a “standard cardiovascular prevention regimen.”
The president’s health update comes as he travels through Asia this week for a series of high-level meetings focused on trade, security, and diplomacy.
Trump’s itinerary includes stops in Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia, with a potential meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un still under discussion.
