President Donald Trump has vowed to remove all military officials who have pushed a radical woke agenda in the armed forces “on Day One” of his next presidency.
Trump made the pledge during a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday.
He promised to remove all the military commanders who have pushed “insulting” woke policies under the Biden-Harris administration.
The 45th president revealed that he plans to eliminate “Critical Race Theory and transgender insanity” from America’s military.
Trump spoke during a rally at the North Carolina Aviation Museum and Hall of Fame in Asheboro.
The rally was his first outdoor event since he was nearly assassinated last month.
Trump was struck by a bullet while speaking at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump, speaking from behind bulletproof glass, said that he would rid the military of wokeness if elected president.
He warned that electing Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris would continue the radicalization of the military.
“Under ‘Comrade Kamala,’ our military has been abused for radical social experiments,” he said.
“On Day One, I will get Critical Race Theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our U.S. Armed Forces.
“We’re taking it out. Our warriors should be focused on defeating America’s enemies, not figuring out their genders.
“Marxist ideologies have no place in combat,” he said.
“We want them to know their gender when they go in.
“You have no idea the disruption that that has caused and the fake news refuses to report it.”
House Republicans have previously warmed that the U.S. Military has been weakened through the adoption of radical “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) policies and LGBT initiatives.
For example, the U.S. Special Forces put out a report claiming that “diversity and inclusion are operational imperatives.”
Trump said those policies would stop if he was elected in November.
“If you want to have a sex change or a social justice seminar, then you can do it somewhere else, but you’re not going to do it in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Space Force, or the United States Marines,” he said.
“The military brass that led these absurd and insulting initiatives will likewise be removed.
“They will no longer be in command.
“They’re going to be gone, gone so fast.”
Trump also said that, on the day of his inauguration, he would demand the resignations of those involved in Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The withdrawal led to the death of 13 American troops in a terror attack.
It also resulted in billions of dollars in American military equipment being left with the Taliban.
“The voters will hold Kamala and Joe accountable this November,” he said.
“I will ask for the resignations of every single senior military official who touched the Afghanistan disaster.
“I want their resignations immediately.”
North Carolina, which Trump won in both 2016 and 2020, is seen as one of the key battleground states for 2024.
