Turning Point USA Reveals Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show Featuring Star-Studded Lineup

Turning Point USA is launching a red-white-and-blue alternative to the Super Bowl’s divisive halftime show, unveiling a patriotic concert designed to celebrate faith, family, and freedom.

The conservative nonprofit announced that it will air “The All-American Halftime Show” at approximately 8 p.m. ET on Feb. 8, directly competing with the NFL’s official halftime broadcast.

The event will feature performances by pro-America artists Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett, according to Turning Point USA.

“We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,” Kid Rock said in a statement.

“Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?”

The alternative broadcast will run opposite the NFL’s official halftime show, which is headlined by leftist Latin music star Bad Bunny.

However, the selection of the far-left singer has drawn sharp criticism from conservatives.

“He’s said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool,” Rock added.

“We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”

Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said the alternative show is intended to give families another choice during halftime.

He said the production would be more intimate and energetic than a large stadium spectacle.

The show is aiming to bring viewers “up close and personal.”

“‘The All-American Halftime Show’ is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” Kolvet said.

“We can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on.

“We know millions around the country will be watching too.”

The Super Bowl on Feb. 8 will feature the New England Patriots facing the Seattle Seahawks.

Bad Bunny is headlining the official halftime show.

But it’s a choice that has continued to spark backlash, including from President Donald Trump.

“I don’t know who he is,” Trump told Newsmax last fall.

“I don’t know why they’re doing it.

“It’s crazy,” the president added.

“And then they blame it on some promoter they hired to pick up entertainment.

“I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”

Bad Bunny has previously said he avoided scheduling U.S. tour dates due to concerns that illegal alien fans could encounter Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

“But there was the issue of like, f—ing ICE could be outside my concert,” he told i-D Magazine in an interview published in September.

Trump has since said he plans to skip the game.

The president cited objections to the halftime performers and the hostile California location.

Adding to the controversy, far-left Green Day is scheduled to perform ahead of kickoff.

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has been an outspoken critic of Trump.

The Super Bowl’s line-up of wealthy celebrities is expected to complain about America, smear ICE agents, and bash Trump.

Turning Point USA’s alternative halftime show will stream on the organization’s YouTube, X, and Rumble channels.

It will also air on Sinclair Broadcast Group’s OTT network CHARGE!, available through platforms including Samsung Plus, YouTube TV, Hulu, and Sling.
