UK Government Begins Teaching Kids to Associate Conservative Views with Terrorism

In a chilling escalation of state-backed indoctrination, the UK government has rolled out a taxpayer-funded program that teaches children to associate skepticism of left-wing policies with terrorism.

At the center of the initiative is “Pathways,” a video game aimed at teenagers that frames mainstream conservative views as warning signs of “far-right extremism.”

The “game” is funded through the UK Home Office under its controversial Prevent counter-terrorism scheme.

Pathways is being introduced to children as young as 11.

The message is blunt and warns children that, if they question mass immigration, discuss British identity, or engage in the wrong online debate, they could be flagged as a potential extremist and referred to counter-terror authorities.

A ‘Game’ That Punishes Wrongthink

Developed by Shout Out UK, Pathways targets 11- to 18-year-olds.

Players guide a character named Charlie, referred to with “they” pronouns, through everyday scenarios that quickly escalate into extremist warnings.

In one scenario, Charlie loses out academically to a black student and must choose whether to accept the outcome or blame immigrants for “stealing jobs.”

Selecting the latter increases an in-game “extremism meter.”

Another sequence presents a video claiming Muslim men are taking housing from veterans and that the government is betraying “white British people.”

Engaging with the content triggers alerts that Charlie is now consuming “harmful ideological messages,” with the game warning that some of the groups involved are “actually illegal.”

Even researching immigration statistics online is portrayed as a dangerous gateway, flooding the screen with material about the alleged “replacement” of white people.

Joining a protest over the “erosion of British values” nearly ends in arrest.

The game goes on to warn players that concerns about “British values” are supposedly driven by racism rather than patriotism.

According to The Telegraph, poor in-game decisions culminate in mandatory counseling for “ideological thoughts” or full Prevent referrals, complete with mentors tasked with correcting a child’s political beliefs.

Defenders Admit the Goal

Matteo Bergamini, founder and CEO of Shout Out UK, defended the program by openly describing it as a tool to shape political thinking.

“Teaching media literacy ensures that all those impacted by our programmes leave with life-long tools and skills to safeguard themselves from these threats,” Bergamini said.

Bergamini added that the game was built “to teach about the concept of extremism and radicalisation and illustrate the scope of online dangers.”

A Home Office spokesman echoed the justification, claiming Prevent has diverted thousands away from “violent ideologies,” including what it now labels “Extreme Right Wing” beliefs.

But critics note that Prevent’s scope has dramatically expanded.

GB News has reported that concerns about mass migration and cultural nationalism are now treated as extremist indicators.

Referrals for right-wing views reached 19 percent in 2024, outpacing Islamist cases, even as MI5 continues to warn that Islamist extremism accounts for the vast majority of terror threats.

A Broader Crackdown on Dissent

The Pathways rollout does not stand alone.

It coincides with mounting pressure from the leftist Labour Party government to regulate or even ban online platforms that allow unfiltered political debate.

Globalist Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently lashed out at X over AI-generated images, declaring, “This is disgraceful.

“It’s disgusting, and it’s not to be tolerated.”

“All options are on the table,” Starmer warned.

Labour MPs have openly argued that platforms like X “have no right to be accessed” if they fail to comply.

At the same time, schools continue to promote radical gender ideology and revisionist history under the banner of “inclusion,” with groups like Stonewall pressuring schools to erase biological language and embed activism across curricula, often in direct conflict with official guidance.

“Fundamentally Undemocratic”

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has warned that these policies amount to grooming a generation to police thought rather than engage in debate.

“If kids are told that questioning net zero or immigration is extremist content, then you are setting a narrative for a future generation that is fundamentally undemocratic,” Farage said, calling Starmer the “biggest threat to free speech” in British history.

X owner Elon Musk has likewise warned that the public must act before the UK’s slide toward censorship becomes irreversible.

Taken together, Pathways and the expanding reach of Prevent paint a stark picture: a state no longer willing to debate dissenting views, but determined to pre-empt them, starting with children.
