Newly emerged evidence has revealed that the UK government received intelligence in 2020 proving that COVID-19 was a bioweapon but chose to cover up the information to advance the global pandemic narrative.
Five years ago, former MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove informed then-Prime Minister Boris Johnson that the intelligence agency had confirmed Covid was developed in a Chinese lab.
Dearlove told Johnson that “it is now beyond reasonable doubt that COVID-19 was engineered in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
However, Johnson covered this information up on the advice of his then-chief scientific advisor Patrick Vallance.
The Daily Mail reported that virologist Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) during President Donald Trump’s administration, has also confirmed these findings.
Dr. Redfield said he is now “100 percent” certain that Covid leaked when bioweapon scientists became infected while carrying out high-risk experiments to boost the infectivity of bat viruses.
The report from the Daily Mail went further and wrote that “a highly distinguished source” had said that in the early days of the Covid era, Dearlove informed the UK government that Covid “was engineered” as a bioweapon.
Sir Richard’s warning to Johnson was based on intelligence work by a reputable scientific team.
However, he faced opposition from Johnson’s team.
Patrick Vallance, who was then at the heart of the UK government’s scientific team, was reportedly reluctant to accept the lab leak theory.
Johnson himself was puzzled by the reluctance of some British scientists to consider the lab leak theory.
He asked the intelligence agencies to further investigate the origins of Covid.
However, his efforts were met with resistance from the scientific community.
The refusal of government experts to contemplate the lab leak theory has raised questions about whether the public and the then premier were actively misled by the scientific and intelligence community to protect research funding from Beijing and avoid angering the ruling Chinese Communist Party.
Vallance has been promoted since the pandemic.
He was knighted as a “Sir” and is now a “Lord.”
Vallance now serves as the “Minister for Science” in far-left Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s socialist government.
The news comes after a leading scientist from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology spoke out to blow the whistle by claiming that the U.S. taxpayer-funded Chinese lab “engineered” COVID-19 as a “bioweapon” to reduce the population of humans around the world.
Wuhan bioweapons scientist Chao Shan made the explosive claim during an interview with Asian News International (ANI) reporter Jennifer Zeng.
Shan, also known as Shao Chao, provided Zeng, a member of the International Press Association, with first-hand information and unique insights about China and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Zeng described Shan’s claims as “shocking” and “astonishing” while detailing his “explosive admission.”
He reveals that the researchers at the Wuhan lab were under orders to develop the coronavirus a “bioweapon” to kill humans.
Shan also mentioned in the interview that several of his colleagues went missing during the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan.
Later, one of them revealed that they were sent to hotels where athletes from various countries were staying to “check the health or hygiene conditions.”
Since checking hygiene doesn’t require virologists, Shan suspected that they were sent there to spread the virus.

These reports are emerging as damning evidence has emerged revealing that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) used taxpayer money to fund the development of COVID-19 as a bioweapon in the same Wuhan laboratory.
As Slay News reported last month, the alarming discovery was revealed by President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief Elon Musk after his watchdog investigated USAID’s spending.
The investigations by DOGE found that tax dollars have been funneled through USAID to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China to develop the COVID-19 virus as a bioweapon.
According to Musk, USAID has also been funding the development of other deadly viruses to be used as bioweapons against the public.
Musk revealed that USAID “funded bioweapon research, including COVID-19, that killed millions of people.”
