Vance: Trump Will ‘Not Ask Permission from Far-Left Democrats’ to Deport Criminal Aliens

Vice President JD Vance has sent a clear message to the Democrats and their allies trying to prevent the Trump administration’s efforts to deport dangerous criminals.

During a Thursday interview, Vance warned that President Donald Trump will “not ask permission from far-left Democrats” to fulfill his promise to the American people to remove criminal illegal aliens from the country.

The Trump administration is standing by its decisions to invoke the Alien Enemies Act.

The president invoked the act to deport dangerous members of the Tren de Agua gang.

It was also used to remove Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who is a member of the deadly MS-13 gang.

The deportation of Garcia has sparked outrage among Democrats, however.

In the Thursday interview with Fox News’s Lawrence Jones, Vance said the Trump administration is doing “the American people’s business” by deporting illegal aliens with lengthy criminal records.

“Back in 2019, an immigration judge looked at all the evidence, looked at all the data and concluded that this allegedly innocent person that we sent to El Salvador was actually a member of an MS-13 gang,” Vance said.

“He had also committed some traffic violations, he had not shown up for some court dates.

“This is not exactly father of the year here, this is a person that we don’t think should be in our country.”

“Here’s the most important point though, Lawrence, is whatever the argument is, whatever the justification is, no one doubts that no even the crazy, left-wing media criticizes the idea that we can deport this person,” the vice president continued.

“They just took issue with the reasoning for why we deported this person.

“This was unquestionably an illegal alien, this was unquestionably a person who broke the laws to get into our country, this is unquestionably a person who an immigration judge had found had zero right to be in the United States of America.

“We do not ask permission from far-left Democrats before we deport illegal immigrants.

“We do the American people’s business.”

Despite pushback from the Democrats, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed that Garcia would be kept in law enforcement custody due to his criminal background and gang association.

The vice president said congressional Democrats have “gone off the deep end” by shifting their sympathies toward dangerous illegal aliens rather than the victims.

Those victims include 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray.

Nungaray was strangled to death by two Tren de Agua gang members.

The administration has deported more than 100,000 illegal immigrants and made more than 113,000 arrests since Trump returned to the White House on Jan. 20, as Slay News reported earlier this week.

Several Democrat-aligned activist federal judges have attempted to block Trump’s deportation efforts.

Most notably, Barack Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge James Boasberg has blocked several of Trump’s orders.

Boasberg issued a ruling to block Trump’s deportation efforts under the Alien Enemies Act.

The Alien Enemies Act is an 18th-century wartime law that allows a president to deport individuals without them facing an immigration judge.

Alarmingly, Boasberg demanded that deportation planes be forced to return to the United States.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Levitt said in a March 17 statement that the planes were already in mid-air and outside of U.S. territory by the time the ruling came down.

This meant the deportees landed in El Salvador, where they were detained.

Vance expressed optimism that the U.S. Supreme Court will side with the administration as they continue to fight against the judges’ rulings.

“You’re right, the courts, some radical left judges, have stepped in and said ‘you’re not allowed to deport MS-13 gang members,'” Vance said.

“That’s crazy, we think the Supreme Court is gonna overrule it, and we’re gonna keep on fighting for the president’s prerogative to enforce the law,” Vance said.

Republican Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) filed articles of impeachment against Boasberg.

Gill argues that the radical judge “abused his power of the judiciary” in an attempt to “usurp President Trump’s clear plenary, Article II powers as commander in chief.”
