Video Resurfaces of Democrat Gubernatorial Candidate Praising Anti-Semitic Leader’s Violent Rhetoric: ‘You Break His Neck’

A top New Jersey Democrat gubernatorial candidate, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, has come under fire after a resurfaced video exposed him publicly praising a radical anti-Semitic leader after a violent speech.

In the video, Baraka is seen endorsing and applauding Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, as reported by Fox News.

However, this wasn’t just a handshake or a photo op.

Baraka expressed his full-blown adoration of a man who’s made a career out of hate.

The 2004 video was filmed at a church in Newark.

Baraka introduced Farrakhan to the congregation as “the leader of every black person.”

He continued by claiming that no president or activist could match his “moral authority.”

Farrakhan has notably praised Hitler as a “great man,” smeared Jews, and raged against white people as “crackers” and “devils.”

Baraka didn’t flinch as Farrakhan spewed violent rhetoric to the crowd.

Instead, he stood to give him not one, but two standing ovations.

One came after Farrakhan mocked non-violence, telling the audience:

“The cracker hit you on your jaw, you break his neck.

“That’s the way we think.”

Another round of applause erupted after Farrakhan called white people “demons” and “the real devil.”

Baraka’s radical views are causing alarm among New Jersey voters.

However, Baraka appears to be trying to hide his support of Farrakhan from the people he hopes will elect him governor.

Baraka also has a long relationship with Farrakhan.

Farrakhan went on to speak to students at Baraka’s high school in 2012.

In 2017, Baraka welcomed Farrakhan again for a speech titled “Separation or Death.”

During the speech, Farrakhan called for reparations and a breakaway state for black people.

In 2018, the far-left extremist returned to Newark to back Baraka personally.

“I came here tonight to stand for my brother,” Farrakhan declared.

Instead of distancing himself, Baraka is doubling down.

When confronted by Jewish Insider, he brushed off the criticism.

Instead, he claimed he “will not be bullied or silenced.”

He even defended Farrakhan’s group, the Nation of Islam.

Baraka claimed the extremist group has “deep respect in many parts of the black community.”

Meanwhile, Baraka’s campaign claims to “reimagine New Jersey.”

But if that vision includes cheering on violent hate preachers and rewriting history for radicals, voters should seriously reconsider who they’re handing the keys to Trenton.
