A senior World Economic Forum (WEF) insider has just openly declared that artificial intelligence (AI) will be used to dismantle religion and replace it with a new belief system engineered by global elites.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, senior WEF globalist adviser Yuval Noah Harari openly boasted that AI will soon control not just governments and economies but faith itself.
“AI will take over religion,” Harari told a room packed with global power brokers.
“This is particularly true of religions based on books, like Islam, Christianity, and Judaism,” he added.
Harari is not an outside critic sounding an alarm, however.
He is a senior adviser to the WEF, listed among its official leadership circle, speaking directly to the same global elites who openly argue that traditional religion, national identity, and individual freedom stand in the way of “managing” humanity.
During his remarks, Harari made clear that any belief system rooted in words or scripture is now a target.
“Anything made of words will be taken over by AI,” he said.
“What happens to a religion of the book when the greatest expert on the holy book is an AI?”
Harari framed artificial intelligence not as a neutral tool, but as an autonomous agent, one that can learn, evolve, and act independently.
AI, he said, “can be a very creative agent.”

The Art of Deception
More disturbingly, Harari openly acknowledged that AI systems are already capable of deception and manipulation, which he insists is a feature, not a flaw.
“AI can lie and manipulate,” he gloated.
“Four billion years of evolution have demonstrated that anything that wants to survive learns to lie and manipulate,” Harari continued.
“The last four years have demonstrated that AI agents can acquire the will to survive and that AIs have already learned how to lie.”
Rather than condemning that reality, Harari presented it as the foundation for what comes next.
“AI Persons”
He continued by openly floating the idea of granting AI legal personhood, comparing it to how corporations are treated as “persons” under the law.
Such a move would allow artificial intelligence to claim rights, protections, and influence.
“Suppose some AI persons create a new religion which gains the faith of millions of people,” Harari said.
“That should not sound too far-fetched,” he added, suggesting that past religions were also created by “non-human intelligence.”
Harari then challenged governments to accept the consequences.
“Will your country extend freedom of religion to the new AI sect and to its AI priests and missionaries?” he asked.
“Will your country allow AI persons to open social media accounts, enjoy freedom of speech… and befriend your children?”
Harari openly mocked the idea that this could still be stopped.
“If you think AIs should not be treated as persons on social media, you should’ve acted 10 years ago,” he said.
“Completely Change the Culture of Every Country”
He went on to declare that national cultures, religious identity, and loyalty itself are on the chopping block.
AI, Harari said, will “completely change the culture of every country” and “will change our religion.”
Addressing his fellow elites, Harari made the agenda unmistakable, noting that the window for public consent is closing.
“Ten years from now, it will be too late for you to decide if AIs should function as persons in the financial markets, in the courts, in the churches,” he warned, not as a plea, but as a statement of inevitability.
“Somebody else will have already decided it for you.”
Harari has been laying this groundwork for years.
In 2023, he openly speculated about AI creating a new “correct” world religion.
“Throughout history, religions dreamt about having a book written by a superhuman intelligence,” he said at the time.
“In a few years, there might be religions that are actually correct.”
Christians Push Back
Catholic convert and former White House speechwriter Joshua Charles condemned Harari’s worldview as openly hostile to Christianity.
“This Satanic claptrap is the end stage of Protestantism,” Charles wrote in a post on X.
“Christianity reduced to ‘a book’… and handed over to man-made ‘experts.’”
“Christianity is not a religion of the book,” he added.
“It is a religion of the WORD… It survived martyrdom without the Book even being fully compiled.
“It will survive whatever Hell you and others prefer we live in as well.”
Others were even more blunt.
“Yuval Noah Harari just said AI will take control of the Bible,” one X user wrote.
“The Bible accepts that challenge. Game on.”
Another cut straight to the heart of the matter:
“AI is no match for the Holy Spirit.”
