WHO Warns ‘Next Pandemic’ Could Emerge ‘Tomorrow’

The globalist head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned the public that the next deadly pandemic “will happen” and claimed “it could happen tomorrow.”

In a statement on Monday, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus demanded that countries around the world prepare for the “next pandemic” now.

Dr. Tedros is calling on governments to invest in “health security” as part of these preparations.

Conveniently, Tedros insists that nations must agree to finalize the WHO’s Global Pandemic Treaty n order to prepare.

As Slay News has reported, the treaty would grant the unelected United Nations health agency with disturbing new levels of global authority.

Once signed, sovereign countries will surrender authority to the WHO in the event of a pandemic or other international “emergency” such as “global boiling.”

Under the treaty, the WHO will be authorized to declare a global “emergency” and enforce measures to respond to it.

If the WHO were to declare a “climate emergency,” for example, the unelected bureaucratic globalist organization would have the authority to enforce lockdowns, forcing Americans to stay inside their homes to supposedly “fight global warming.”

In an effort to pressure nations to sign the treaty, the WHO warns that the Covid pandemic wiped more than $10 trillion from the global economy, arguing that another outbreak could inflict even more damage.

In this week’s statement, Tedros warns that the “next pandemic” could “happen in 20 years or more, or it could happen tomorrow.

“But it will happen,” the WHO chief declared.

“Either way, we must be ready.”

Tedros describes the likelihood of another pandemic as “an epidemiological certainty” rather than “a theoretical risk.”

A pandemic can cause more social and economic damage than a war, he claimed.

He argues that the investment needed in health security is “nothing” compared to what governments spend on defense.

“All countries need to find a balance in protecting their people from both bombs and bugs,” he said.

On Tuesday, the U.S. government proposed a record-breaking $1 trillion defense budget.

In March, the European Union (EU) announced a plan to mobilize up to €800 billion to militarize the bloc.

Unelected EU officials cited a perceived threat from Russia.

The Pandemic Agreement under discussion at the WHO does not specify exact amounts that governments are expected to allocate.

However, the WHO claims it will improve global preparedness and response to future threats from pandemics and “climate change.”

In January, President Donald Trump signed an executive order initiating the withdrawal of the United States from the WHO.

It comes after America has historically been the largest single contributor to the organization.

As he initiated the year-long withdrawal process, Trump cited the WHO’s mishandling of the Covid pandemic and the UN health body’s pro-China bias.

Trump has also appointed critics of mainstream Covid policies to key health positions.

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University professor known for opposing lockdowns and vaccine mandates, was appointed to lead the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a prominent vaccine sceptic, became Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Meanwhile, a former federal health official has also been pushing similar fearmongering claims this week.

As Slay News reported, Dr. Anthony Fauci has made a chilling “prediction” that a new rapidly spreading “respiratory disease” will soon strike the human race.

Fauci also suggested that Trump’s policies will make the next pandemic “more dangerous” than Covid.

He was discussing the looming “next outbreak” during a discussion before an audience at the New Orleans Book Festival.

Fauci attended the event to promote his new book about the Covid pandemic.

However, Fauci warned that the crowd that, although the Covid pandemic is long over, the worst is yet to come.

According to the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the “next outbreak” will bring “a significant degree of morbidity.”

“The next outbreak will be of a respiratory disease that’s easily transmissible, that has a significant degree of morbidity,” Fauci asserted.

In an apparent swipe at President Trump’s efforts to slash government waste, Fauci then said he “absolutely” agrees that “we’re making” disease outbreaks “more dangerous” due to “the cuts and our attitudes toward the science.”
