Three young doctors from the same hospital have died “suddenly” in the space of one week after the facility mandated a fourth COVID-19 vaccine shot for all staff members.
The three physicians all worked at Canada’s Trillium Health Partners Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Jakub Sawicki, Dr. Stephen McKenzie, and Dr. Lorne Segall all died unexpectedly in the same week, Trillium spokesperson Amit Shilton confirmed in a statement
The cause of death for the three doctors has yet to be announced.
The news about the three deceased doctors was first shared on social media before being confirmed by the hospital.
A nurse named Monique shared a copy of the memo that was sent out by the hospital’s management to announce the doctors’ deaths.
According to the nurse, the three doctors died after the hospital started mandating the fourth Covid shot, or second “booster,” for their employees.
“Three physicians at the Mississauga hospitals have died this week,” the nurse said.
“1st memo Monday, 2nd Tuesday, 3rd Thursday.
“[The] cause of death wasn’t shared in the memo, but how many times have 3 doctors died in 1 week, days after the hospital started administering the 4th shot to staff.”
“This is in addition to the physician who worked at North York General who died this week while out running.
“How many more ‘coincidences’ will people accept.
“These shots need to be pulled,” the nurse concluded.
The nurse made reference to Dr. Paul Hannam, who was the chief of emergency medicine and the program medical director at North York General Hospital.
Hannam also died unexpectedly earlier this month.
Hannam reportedly collapsed suddenly while out running, friend and fellow emergency physician Dr. Howard Ovens said in a tweet.
“Olympic sailor, marathon runner, family man, ED director at NYGH, a sweet, thoughtful, compassionate, and gentle man died suddenly today on a run,” he wrote.
“The quintessential mensch. Hug someone you love.”

All three Trillium physicians died within just four days:
- Dr. Lorne Segall – July 17
- Dr. Stephen McKenzie – July 18
- Dr. Jakub Sawicki – July 21
On Wednesday, Trillium Health Partners finally released a statement and confirmed the deaths of the three doctors.
“It is with deep sadness that THP mourns the loss of three of our physicians who recently passed away,” the hospital announced on Twitter.
“Dr. Jakub Sawicki, Dr. Stephen McKenzie, and Dr. Lorne Segall were respected physicians who dedicated their lives to caring for their patients and community,” the post added.

The hospital responded to rumors on social media rumor that their deaths were related to the COVID-19 vaccination by stating that the claims are “simply not true.”
The rumour circulating on social media is simply not true. Their passings were not related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Their causes of death have yet to be revealed, however.
