4 of Them Broke Into Family Home and Murdered the Father

Four masked Hispanic males wearing body armor and armed with high-powered weapons broke into a family home in Harris County, Texas looking for money.

At the time of the initial break-in, a mother and her three children were the only ones in the home in the 2400 block of Orange Blossom Lane. Almost immediately after the four men forced their way through the front door, the father and cousin walked in through the front door, and one of the suspects opened fire.

The father was shot and killed in the doorway, and the suspects fled in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck.

Harris County Precinct 3 constables were immediately called and were given the description of the suspects’ vehicle. Deputy constables spotted the truck and followed it, attempting to get the suspects to stop. They were led on a brief chase before the suspects crashed approximately nine miles from the scene of the home invasion.

All four suspects were able to exit the vehicle and run away into the woods, though deputies have one of the suspects in custody. The other three are still on the run.

Deputies are attempting to gather information on the suspects through interviews with the family, as well as canvassing the neighborhood for surveillance video.
