Adam Kinzinger Calls Tucker Carlson ‘Disgusting,’ Gets Overruled by Thomas Massie: ‘Changed My Perception’

Disgraced former Republican congressman-turned-TV analyst Adam Kinzinger suffered a meltdown on CNN over Tucker Carlson’s explosive reporting on the Jan. 6 Tapes.

On Monday night, Carlson reported his first segment on the thousands of hours of Capitol Hill security footage that his team obtained from January 6, 2021.

The footage debunks the “violent insurrection” narrative that’s been peddled by Kinzinger and his Democrat and corporate media allies, proving that they’ve misled the American people about Jan. 6.

Kinzinger, who was part of the Democrats’ anti-Trump Jan. 6 House Committee, is outraged that his deceitful narrative about Jan. 6 has now been exposed.

During an appearance on “CNN This Morning,” Kinzinger called Fox News host Tucker Carlson “disgusting” for his reporting.

“It’s disgusting,” Kinzinger said about Carlson showing the public video evidence that disputes the false “violent insurrection” narrative.

“The sad thing is you’re going to have people that have only gotten their news on Fox News that are never going to have the opportunity to hear the truth.

“What Tucker Carlson employs here and employed it the entire time he’s been as a grifter TV show host because he knows better than this, by the way — he takes a cut scene and creates a straw man.

“First off, on the opening there where he says, look, there is only like a handful of people here. I know one of those rooms, particularly Statuary Hall, was filled with people.

“There is tons of pictures of that,” he said.

“At some point leading up to or after, there are moments where there are only a few people in there.

“Secondarily, you look at like, okay, one of the things he said, Josh Hawley was running, and so was every other member of the Senate.

“Like, okay, yeah, because there was violence that day.

“He said Officer Sicknick didn’t die at the riots.

“He was walking around the end of the insurrection.

“Nobody ever claimed that Officer Sicknick died that moment. He died a day later.”

However, Kinzinger failed to mention that Sicknick died of natural causes and wasn’t injured while working at the Capitol.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) disagreed with Kinzinger about Carlson’s report, however.

Massie famously gathered his staff in his office during the riot, grabbed his gun, and told his staff he would shoot to kill if anyone tried to break in and do them harm.

He also blamed Trump for the riot.

However, Massie said the footage has now “changed” his perception of the event.

Massie said:

“You’ve exposed so many lies tonight with these tapes that it’s changed my perception of what happened two years ago, and I was there.

“The tapes of people milling peacefully about, and my hat’s off to your producers for sitting over there and going through hours of this.

“But I would love for you to unleash the resourcefulness of the American public on these videos.

“I think they should be released.

“You know, I think it’s poppycock that they can’t be released because of some security issues.

“Look, I’m the one who is supposed to be secured by these buildings, and I’m not worried about releasing them.

“They need to be released,” Massie asserted.

“In fact, there was a Rasmussen poll that just came out that showed over 80%, 78% of Democrats, and 86% of Republicans say that all the videos should be released, and they should because, as you said, Tucker, you didn’t have facial recognition software there.

“We need a complete catalog of all of the Feds who were there.

“Tell us who they were.

“Let’s watch the videos and let’s see what they did because there are some really strange behavior on those videos of people behind the police lines in plain clothes, like touching them on the shoulder, talking in their ear, walking up around boundaries, as if they weren’t even there.

“It’s very odd. I’m the one who asked Merrick Garland.

“I showed him the tape of Ray Epps.

“The Democrats didn’t like it,” he said.

“I had to show it on an iPad for Merrick Garland to watch it, and then he refused to say how many Feds were there.

“But that was also in the Rasmussen poll, 57 percent of Democrats think that it is at least somewhat likely that Feds, agents of the Federal government, we’re not just there, but we’re also encouraging people to riot or go into the Capitol.”
