Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is renewing calls for Democrats to pack the United States Supreme Court with leftist justices who will further advance the Left’s agenda.
Schiff put out a rallying call to his fellow Democrats to “expand, unstack, and reform” the highest court in the land.
In an email to supporters of his Senate campaign, Schiff said, “We must unpack the court by expanding the number of justices on the court, instituting term limits, and enacting a code of ethics like every other federal court.”
Democrats have been complaining about the SCOTUS ever since President Donald Trump put three conservatives on it.
Since then, there have been demands to retaliate by adding more justices to water down the GOP majority.
Most Americans, however, oppose court packing.
Even Democrat President Joe Biden has been reluctant to join in the call.
Last year, a survey from the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports found that 55 percent of American voters oppose adding more justices.
Democrats, however, appear in favor.
That survey, following the court’s decisions to end Roe v. Wade and expand gun rights, said that 64 percent of Democrats want to add four more justices to the nine on the bench today.
Schiff noted that he has been pushing for more justices since Roe was overturned.
“I’ve spent years talking about the need to expand, unstack, and reform the Supreme Court after Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell stacked it with partisans,” Schiff said in the email shared with Secrets.
“This week we saw firsthand the consequences of its imbalance.”

Other Democrats, including far-left Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), also attacked the court over the weekend.
On MSNBC, for example, Pressley said, “I think everything should be on the table.”
On adding more judges, she argued that the court “has been emboldened in rolling back the hands of time, undermining and rolling back what should be fundamental civil human rights.
“So everything should be on the table: reform and expansion.”
Ocasio-Cortez, meanwhile, went on CNN and accused the Supreme Court’s conservative justice majority of abusing its power while threatening them with impeachment.
AOC is demanding Congress impeach the SCOTUS justices after their ruling on affirmative action conflicted with her own political beliefs.
The congresswoman called for the Supreme Court to be packed and said that impeachment “must be on the table.”
“That, I believe, is an expansion of power that we really must be focusing on,” AOC said in a statement loaded with falsehoods.
“The danger of this court and the abuse of power in this court, particularly as it is related to the entanglements around conflicts of interest as well.
“The courts, if they were to proceed without any check on their power, without any balance on their power, then we will start to see an undemocratic and, frankly, dangerous authoritarian expansion of power in the Supreme Court,” she falsely claimed.
“Which is what we are seeing now.
“From the overturning of abortion rights to the ruling that discrimination and, frankly, stripping the full personhood and dignity of LGBTQ people in the United States.
“These are the types of rulings that signal a dangerous creep towards authoritarianism and centralization of power in the court.
“The Court has not been receiving the adequate oversight necessary in order to preserve their own legitimacy.”
