Alec Baldwin Defends Reckless Hollywood Star Who Crashed Car into House

Embattled actor Alec Baldwin has spoken out in defense of Hollywood star Anne Heche after she recklessly crashed her car into a house.

As Slay News previously reported, Heche crashed her car into an apartment building garage in the Los Angeles area before speeding off and careering into a house.

The “Donnie Brasco” actress’s car burst into flames, destroyed the house, and narrowly avoided killing the occupants.

Heche was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after suffering severe burns.

The actress has previously spoken publicly about her troubles with drink and drugs abuse.

Following the crash, Heche’s grave condition prevented officials from testing her for alcohol.

However, images have since emerged showing, what appears to be, a liquor bottle in her car.

Video footage captured shortly before the crash also shows Heche driving at extremely high speeds in a built-up residential area.

Despite the controversial nature surrounding the circumstances of the fiery crash, Baldwin took to social media to defend his celebrity friend.

Alec said: “Hey, I just want to send out my best wishes and all my love to Anne Heche.

“I love you Anne. I love you and I think you are such a talented person.

“I hope everything is ok. I hope you come through this.

“My heart goes out to you.

“I’m sorry you had this tragic thing happen to you, and I’m sending you all my love.

“Everyone, join me please in sending their support and love to the wonderful Anne Heche. Thanks.”

The backlash to Baldwin’s tweet was furious, with one social media user saying, “She put lives in danger.”

Another said, “Thank god there weren’t any children playing in that garden.”

“What about the people that she almost killed??” one said.

“Is she more important?”

“Did you see how reckless she was driving and how she hit a building before she crashed?

“Did you see the RING doorbell footage?

“She is lucky she didn’t kill anyone,” another user wrote.

A fundraiser to help the woman who lost her house (and almost her life) in the crash says:

“Lynne lives with her beautiful pups Bree and Rueban, and tortoise Marley in the Mar Vista home that was destroyed this week by a car driving into the home at a high rate of speed, catching the house on fire.

“Lynne and her family very narrowly escaped physical harm, and for that we are very, very grateful.

“The home, however, was completely burned – with 59 firefighters taking 65 minutes to extinguish the flames – and immediately red-tagged by the LAFD, necessitating that Lynne leave the place she loves.

“Even more distressing is that Lynne lost her entire lifetime of possessions, mementos, all equipment for her business including her laptop and iPad, all of her clothing and basic necessities, and all household items.

“With firefighters’ help, she was able to pull a few damaged sentimental belongings from the wreckage.

“Everything else is gone.

“A kind and generous person, Lynne is always first to offer help to others.

“Today we are asking the community to come together and help Lynne start over.

“Please, please join us – 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser are going directly to Lynne Mishele,” it says.
