“Woke” Hollywood star Alyssa Milano tried to smear Twitter CEO Elon Musk on “The View” but ended up exposing her own ignorance instead.
Milano is one of several leftist celebrities who are melting down over Musk’s free speech plan for Twitter.
Some have been threatening to boycott the platform, others have closed their accounts, and many are trashing Musk nonstop (on Twitter).
However, despite the meltdowns over “the current thing,” critics can’t highlight anything that has changed on the platform since Musk bought it.
While Milano and her allies claim Musk is “destroying” Twitter, the social media platform is recording record numbers of users.
After Musk gutted Twitter’s “content moderation” department and scrapped so-called “Covid misinformation” policies, the site hasn’t been flooded with “hate speech” like the “woke” Left fearmongers had forewarned.
Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Milano from attacking him.
During her appearance on “The View,” Milano explained why she gave back her Tesla and bought a Volkswagen.
“I mean for me, speaking of #MeToo when he was accused of sexual misconduct and paid out $250k to this person, I decided like I can’t live in that hypocrisy of driving that car when that happened,” she claimed.
Co-host Sunny Hostin stepped in and derailed Milano’s rant saying:
“I do have a legal note, Elon Musk has denied these allegations of sexual misconduct, calling them utterly untrue.”
Milano continued:
“I’m so annoyed with all of these billionaires with the exception of a few, but especially Elon Musk.
“You buy Twitter to destroy it for $40 billion.
“$40 billion, Elon Musk, imagine if he donated that money to UNICEF.
“He would change the world, there would be no hunger.”
Hostin asked Milano “what happens if things continue the way they are on Twitter, I think it’s become a hellscape, but it’s been a hellscape for a minute.”
Milano then gave up the game by admitting that nothing has changed for her since Musk took over the company.
“I was always on receiving end of trolls, right, so to me it doesn’t feel any different,” she said.
