Radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has called for Tucker Carlson and other reporters critical of the Democrats to be banned from TV by the federal government.
During an interview with Democrat President Joe Biden’s former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on MSNBC, AOC deceitfully claimed that Carlson and “other folks on Fox” are inciting “violence.”
“Federal regulation, in terms of what’s allowed on air and what isn’t,” AOC demanded as Psaki nodded along in agreement.
“And when you look at what Tucker Carlson and what of these other folks on Fox do, it is very very clearly incitement of violence, very clearly incitement of violence and that is the line that we have to be willing to contend with,” she said.

However, AOC failed to provide a single example of the alleged “incitement of violence,” despite claiming that Carlson and his colleagues at Fox News are “very very clearly” guilty of it.
In response to a viral video of AOC’s comments, Twitter users fired back by noting that AOC simply wants to silence those who are critical of the Democrats’ agenda.
“Their goal is the criminalization of political opposition,” said Auron MacIntyre.
“Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar or a fool.”

Journalist Glenn Greenwald argued that AOC was essentially calling for a form of fascism.
The people who endlessly and shrilly insist they are fighting fascism constantly advocate:
* A union of public power (CIA/FBI/DHS) and corporate power (Big Tech) to censor the internet;
* The president ignore court orders;
* Adversary media be banned.
Very odd anti-fascism. https://t.co/T7nXlyjDVm

AOC has a history of making fake claims about people supposedly inciting violence, typically targeting her political adversaries with such allegations.
She previously accused Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), a vocal critic of AOC, of “almost” having her “murdered” during the January 6 riot.
The allegation was just one of a number of claims about what happened that day that subsequently turned out to be false.
Some pointed out that AOC herself has previously legitimized leftist violence.
The congresswoman suggested in 2019 that “marginalized communities” should be encouraged to riot.
