Armed Texas Homeowner Catches Naked Intruder Trying to Steal Cat, Shoots Him

An armed homeowner in Texas caught a naked intruder in his home and shot him, according to reports.

The Newton County homeowner awoke around 5.30 am on Wednesday to find the completely nude burglar trying to steal his cat.

Thankfully the homeowner had his firearm to hand and prevented the miserable scene from unfolding any further.

“At about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, a homeowner in the 190 Block of CR 4161 contacted the Newton County Dispatch Center and stated that he woke up and found an unidentified naked man inside his house,” KFDM reported.

“He described the intruder as a white male that appeared to be young, possibly in his early twenties.

“The homeowner further advised that the unidentified man tried to steal his cat.”

The homeowner then shot the man in the arm, causing him to immediately flee the scene,

KATV noted that the homeowner’s shot at the suspect “grazed his right forearm.”

After the suspect fled the home, a deputy spotted him running down the street naked.

The suspect was apprehended and taken to the hospital to have his wound treated.

Following treatment, the suspect was released into the custody of the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.

Thankfully, the homeowner, and his cat, were unharmed.
