Arnold Schwarzenegger Hits Woman on Bike with His Car, Sends Her to Hospital

Hollywood actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a crash with a cyclist in West Los Angeles Sunday.

Schwarzenegger reportedly hit a woman on a bicycle in the Brentwood neighborhood around 10:30 am.

The woman was injured and sent to the hospital.

She was treated for minor injuries and is in stable condition and is expected to recover.

Police sources said the collision was not the Hollywood star’s fault.

The woman is reported to have pulled out in front of Schwarzenegger, leaving him no time to hit the brakes and avoid knocking her off her bike.

According to TMZ, while she went to the hospital, Schwarzenegger took her bike to a shop to get it repaired.

According to TMZ:

“Law enforcement sources tell us the woman made a left turn in front of Arnold before he had a chance to hit his brakes.

“We’re also told he was not going very fast at all, although the woman did complain of pain afterward.

“…Sources familiar with the situation tell us the movie star was driving in West L.A. Sunday morning, when at some point … a woman riding a bike on the road suddenly swerved into his lane and made contact with his vehicle — something confirmed by 3 eyewitnesses.”

Schwarzenegger was previously involved in a multi-car accident that took place in Brentwood last January.

The performer was driving his GMC Yukon when he collided with a Toyota Prius that subsequently continued to roll into a Porsche Taycan.

The driver of the Prius was taken to a hospital by ambulance after it was found that she was bleeding heavily from her head.

No arrests were made at the scene of the accident, and neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected to have been factors.
