Hollywood singer and actress Barbra Streisand has vowed to leave America if President Donald Trump wins re-election next year.
The liberal celebrity declared that she can no longer “live in this country” if Trump returns to the White House, asserting that she prefers Democrat President Joe Biden.
“I like Biden. I like Biden,” Streisand told Stephen Colbert during a sit-down interview on “The Late Show.”
“I think he has done a good job.”
She continued by telling Colbert that she would move out of the United States and live in Europe instead if Trump beats Newsom Biden.
“I will move,” Streisand told Colbert, discussing a second Trump term.
“I can’t live in this country if he became president.”
“Where would you go?” Colbert asked.
“Probably to England,” she replied.
“I like England,” she added.
She continued by describing the political climate in the U.S. as “bad.”
Streisand went on to argue: “Well, I like Biden. I like Biden.
“I think he has done a good job.
“I think he is compassionate, smart, supports the right things.”
The singer’s sentiments on Trump had been established in her autobiography, “My Name Is Barbra.”
In the book, released earlier this month, she characterizes Trump as “completely unfit,” and said he “lies as easily as he breathes.”
“You wouldn’t go to a doctor who has no qualifications or experience in treating your disease,” she wrote in the book.
“Why on earth would people want to entrust our country to a narcissist whose lack of experience, recklessness, and blatant disregard for the truth made him completely unfit to be president?”
Meanwhile, Streisand maintains a close relationship with former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary.
She describes the Clintons as “the most appealing couple.”
Streisand’s declaration she’ll leave the U.S. is reminiscent of similar calls made by numerous prominent liberals in the run-up to the 2016 election.
In the run-up to the election, celebrities including Cher, Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, Bryan Cranston, and Whoopi Goldberg all promised to emigrate due to severe Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).
Streisand herself told 60 Minutes in October 2016 that she would move to Canada or Australia if Trump won.
Unfortunately, Streisand, or any of the other “woke” celebrities, never made good on their promises.
