President Joe Biden has claimed that his faceless, unelected handlers refused to let him attend the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
Biden made the claim while addressing 400 Olympic and Paralympic athletes at the White House.
He told the crowd that was not allowed to attend the Olympics because “they” decided it would create too much commotion, even though other presidents have attended.
“Because I’m president and I cause commotion when I go places, they wouldn’t let me go the Olympics,” he told the athletes on the White House lawn.
“But I watched it all.
“Jill, my wife, went to the Olympics.”
The U.S. earned 126 medals in the Paris Games in August.
It was more than any other country including China (91), Britain (65) and France (64).
America tied China for the most gold medals, with 40 each.
The Paris Games saw the U.S. become the first to reach 3,000 total Olympic medals.
While the U.S. did not dominate the Paralympics in the same way, America had the third-highest number of medals (105) after China and Britain.
The Paralympics is held about two weeks after the Olympics.
Later in the speech, Biden said “they” couldn’t stop him from attending the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
He insisted that his handlers won’t have a say in 2028 because he won’t be president then.
Biden often blames unspecified staffers for restricting him from doing things, from traveling to answering questions from certain reporters.
It makes thinking people wonder who is in control at the White House–it’s obviously not Biden.
After the 2022 midterms, Biden said during a press conference:
“Now, I’ve been given a list of ten people that I’m supposed to call on and you’re all supposed to ask me one question, but I’m sure you’ll ask me more.
“So let me start off with the list I’ve been given.”
Biden didn’t call on any conservative outlets at the time.
He stuck to The Associated Press, CBS News, CNN, Reuters, ABC News, Bloomberg, The Grio, NBC News and The New York Times.
The president also recently told reporters that he was banned from holding large rallies because it’s “too dangerous.”
Former Presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush all attended the Olympics while president.
In all likelihood, “they” banned Biden from the Olympics because he would have made a fool of the U.S. with his likely dementia and weird comments.
Biden has hardly been seen since stepping down from his re-election bid.
Many frequently comment that they forget Biden is still president and leader of the free world.
