Biden: Blacks and Hispanics ‘Don’t Own Their Homes’

Democrat President Joe Biden has claimed that black and Hispanic Americans “don’t own their homes.”

Biden made the remarks during a press conference to promote his controversial student debt forgiveness scheme.

The plan seeks to use taxpayer money to pay off student loans for college-educated voters ahead of the November midterm elections.

The Biden administration is canceling up to $10,000 in student debt for borrowers who earn $125,000 a year or less and up to $20,000 for recipients of Pell Grants, according to “multiple sources familiar with the matter,” NBC News reported.

Biden claims “canceling” student loan debt won’t have any “meaningful effect on inflation.”

While defending the plan, he then claimed that “black and Hispanic borrowers” don’t own real estate in America.

“The burden is especially heavy on black and Hispanic borrowers who on average have less family wealth to pay for it,” Biden said as he read from the teleprompter before going off-script.

They don’t own their homes to borrow against it to be able to pay for college,” he added.

This isn’t the first time Biden has disparaged blacks and Hispanics during his presidency.

During a CNN presidential town hall last February, Biden suggested blacks and Hispanics don’t know how to use the Internet.
