Biden Creates New ‘Woke’ Federal Agency with Executive Order

Democrat President Joe Biden has signed an executive order to establish an entirely new “woke” federal agency.

The Office of Environmental Justice will use taxpayer funds to advance the Democrats’ radical green agenda.

The White House announced Friday morning that Biden’s executive order will dramatically increase the scope of the administration’s initiatives in that space.

According to a White House fact sheet, the new executive order directs federal agencies to consider the “disproportionate and adverse” impacts of climate change on certain communities, as opposed to “disproportionately high and adverse” impacts.

This Biden administration hopes that this will prevent any “misunderstanding” that agencies should focus on only “large disproportionate effects.”

“With this action, the President is working to ensure that all people — regardless of race, background, income, ability, Tribal affiliation, or zip code — can benefit from the vital safeguards enshrined in our nation’s foundational environmental and civil rights laws,” the White House statement reads.

“That means cleaner air and water, reduced risk for asthma, cancer, and other health burdens, and better access to green space, safe and affordable housing, and clean transportation.”

The executive order, which was signed by Biden Friday afternoon, also expands the programs covered by the president’s Justice40 Initiative — which directs 40% of all funds from certain federal projects to communities that are “marginalized, underserved, and overburdened by pollution” — and make environmental justice a “duty” that all executive agencies must consider.

The White House also announced that the Office of Management and Budget will begin publishing an Environmental Justice Scorecard.

The scorecard will track the federal agency’s efforts on environmental justice initiatives.

On Thursday, radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Edward Markey (D-MA) reintroduced their Green New Deal.

The bill was re-introduced alongside an affiliated health-focused package.

The move was made in a bid to pressure the Biden admin and other Democrats to focus on inequality as part of its “climate change” agenda.

However, the Green New Deal is mostly focused on radical socialist policies rather than actual environmental issues.

The executive order comes just one day after the president pledged $1 billion in support for the United Nations’ Green Climate Fund, as Slay News reported.

The UN fund will invest U.S. tax dollars in green technology, particularly in developing nations.

“Look, this is about peoples’ health,” Biden said in a speech from the White House Rose Garden while signing the order on Friday afternoon.

“It’s about the health of our communities.

“It’s only about the future of our planet.”

During his speech, Biden drew contrasts between his administration’s green agenda and the “dangerous vision” of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and other Republicans.

“Speaker McCarthy and his extreme caucus’ proposals, including H.R. 1, would be a climate and health disaster that President Biden won’t allow on his watch,” the White House officials said.

In his remarks Friday, Biden hailed that his administration is “making major investments in clean energy in disadvantaged communities to lower energy costs and create good-paying jobs,” before criticizing McCarthy’s proposals as harmful to both the environment and the economy.

“This is not your father’s Republican Party,” Biden said.

“The MAGA Republicans in Congress want to repeal climate provisions and the Inflation Reduction Act.

“They’d rather threaten to default on the U.S. economy … rather than get rid of $30 billion taxpayer subsidies to an oil industry that made $200 billion last year. Imagine making that choice.”

“Imagine seeing all that’s happened – the wildfires, the floods, the storms – and doing nothing about it,” the president said.

“Nothing about it. Imagine taking all these clean energy jobs away from working-class folks all across America. Imagine turning your back on all those moms and dads living in towns poisoned by pollution and telling them ‘sorry, you’re on your own.'”

“We can’t let that happen,” Biden said.

“I mean, really can’t let that happen.

“That’s why this executive order, in my view, is so important.”
