Democrat President Joe Biden did little to quash concerns about his fitness for office during a Thursday night presser as questions about his age and mental acuity continue to mount.
Biden lashed out at reporters, made several embarrassing gaffes, and started yelling angrily at his critics.
The president erupted in anger during a press conference that he called at the last minute on Thursday night.
The briefing was meant to address the special counsel’s report on the criminal investigation into Biden’s handling of classified material.
In the report, Special Counsel Robert Hur revealed that prosecutors would not file criminal charges against Biden.
However, Hur explained in the report that charges would not be filed because Biden exhibited serious memory issues during his interview with investigators.
The special counsel report described Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and suggested that charges wouldn’t go anywhere due to the president’s deficient mental fitness and age.
In an apparent attempt to push back on the serious questions that were raised about his fitness for office, Biden announced a press conference with only several minutes’ warning.
During the event, Biden snapped at reporters for asking him about his mental fitness.
Biden appeared outraged at the suggestion, despite polls showing that 76% of Americans have said that his mental and physical fitness was a concern.
When asked about voters’ concerns and his “mental acuity” and age, Biden snapped: “That is your judgement! That is your judgement!
“That is not the judgement of the press.”
Biden then angrily declared that he was “the most qualified person in the United States to be president.”

Biden continued the presser by making several gaffes and erupting in angry outbursts.
While discussing Israel’s war with Hamas, Biden mixed up world leaders, saying that “the president of Mexico, El-Sisi, did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in.”
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is the president of Egypt, not the president of Mexico.
“I talked to him, I convinced him to open the gate,” Biden claimed.
“I talked to Bibi to open the gate on the Israeli side.”

He then forgot the name of the church where his late son, Beau Biden, got the rosary that the president now wears every day.

Biden claimed that the special counsel did not accuse him of sharing classified information with the ghostwriter of his book in 2017.
However, the special counsel said that Biden did exactly that.

Biden also fumed over the special counsel asking him when his son died.
The special counsel noted in the report that Biden could not even remember within several years when Beau died.
