Democrat President Joe Biden has finally reemerged after not being seen in public for almost a week, but he appeared confused over questions about one of the biggest stories of his own political career.
Biden hadn’t been seen publicly since last Wednesday after he reportedly returned to his Delaware beach house to supposedly “recover from Covid.”
During his absence, “Biden” made the historic announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential election and endorsing Vice President Kalama Harris as his replacement.
However, the announcement was only made via a post on Biden’s X account, which is known to be run by handlers.
The letter included in the post didn’t feature the presidential seal and the signature on the letter doesn’t match Biden’s signature on any other official documents.
Further, the White House has not made any official statement to confirm Biden is dropping out of the race.
On Tuesday, Biden was finally spotted as he was making his way back to Washington D.C.
As it was the first time he was seen in public since ending his re-election campaign, reporters scrambled to ask Biden the million-dollar question: “Why did you drop out?”
Alarmingly, Biden appeared baffled by the questions.
Instead of responding to why he announced his exit from the 2024 race in a post on X Sunday, Biden just looked confused.
He then started laughing as though the reporters were joking before walking away.
The Republican National Committee’s (RNC) account picked up on the encounter and shared a video clip on the baffling moment on X.
The RNC argued that Biden’s confusion is further evidence of a “coup.”

The video has quickly started circulating on X, with many suggesting that Biden doesn’t know that his campaign has ended.
Some argued that Democrats are guilty of committing an “insurrection” if Biden really isn’t aware that his campaign has been shut down.
“Biden doesn’t even know he dropped out, just look at his reaction after being questioned by a reporter,” wrote X user Gunther Eagleman in response to the video.
“This is a coup. An insurrection.
“The Democrats are not the party of democracy.”
Meanwhile, Democrats have been moving full-steam ahead with Harris in Biden’s absence.
Former Democrat 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has responded by warning the American people that Harris “is the new figurehead for the deep state.”
Gabbard, who ran against Harris in the 2020 Democrat primary, and outperformed her, warns that the vice president is a “maidservant of Hillary Clinton.”
She blasted Harris as the new puppet of the “deep state” after Democrats unofficially anointed her as the presumptive presidential candidate without a primary process.
