Democrat President Joe Biden has vowed that he will “blunt climate impact” as part of his administration’s goal to “reduce emissions” by the year “2020.”
Biden’s made the bizarre pledge during an address in California on Monday.
Standing alongside California’s Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom, Biden promised voters that his administration “will have conserved 30%” of all lands and waters under U.S. jurisdiction by 2020.
The head-scratching comments came during Biden’s visit to the Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center and Preserve in Palo Alto.
“And maybe most important, I’ve committed to – by 2020, we will have conserved 30% of all the lands and waters the United States has jurisdiction over and simultaneously reduce emissions to blunt climate impact,” Biden told the crowd gathered at the preserve.

However, Biden will obviously struggle to live up to that promise as he’s already missed the mark and wasn’t even in office by 2020.
Biden’s handlers have yet to release a statement to clarify the remarks.
But according to a White House fact sheet released in March, the Biden admin plans to conserve “at least 30% of U.S. lands and waters by 2030.”
The plan involved investing more than $1 billion in “unprecedented investments in land, water, and wildlife conservation.”
The gaffe comes just days after Biden caused an uproar of confusion by closing his remarks at a Connecticut summit on the Democrats’ gun control agenda.
Biden bizarrely ended his speech with the phrase “God Save the Queen.”
The iconic phrase is commonly used in the United Kingdom.
It is also the name of the song often used as England’s national anthem while under the leadership of a female monarch.
However, the current monarch of the United Kingdom is King Charles III – as his mother, the long-serving Queen Elizabeth II, died in September.
It’s unclear why Biden used the phrase to end his gun control speech in Connecticut.
