Democrat President Joe Biden’s Covid Czar Dr. Ashish Jha has stated that the “goal” for the federal government’s pandemic response is to “build a very different new normal.”
Jha, the Biden administration’s COVID-19 response coordinator, made the admission during a video conference with other top federal health officials.
According to Jha, wokeness is at the core of the “new normal” with a focus on “equity.”
“I’ve heard Secretary Cardona say this over and over again,” Jha said during the meeting that included Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky.
“You know, people do talk about going back to normal… and I’ve heard the secretary say, ‘well, you know, normal wasn’t working out so well every-for some people.’
“So the goal in my mind is not to go back to normal, the goal is to build a very different new normal that has equity much more at the heart of it,” Dr. Jha said.

The comments have emerged as Biden requested an additional $22.4 billion for Covid relief on Friday.
Biden claims the funding is in anticipation of a “fall surge” in the run-up to the midterm elections.
The billions in taxpayer money will help build Dr. Jha’s vision of a “very different new normal.”
