Biden’s Handlers Issue 9 Corrections to NAACP Speech in White House Transcript

Joe Biden’s faceless, unelected handlers made a staggering nine corrections to the White House transcript of the Democrat president’s gaffe-filled speech before the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

During his Monday address before the leftist civil rights organization in Michigan, Biden flubbed words and made multiple confusing comments.

One troubling gaffe was Biden’s suggestion that he was vice president during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the pandemic began while President Donald Trump was in the White House, almost four years after Biden left office.

“When I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic,” Biden said near the beginning of his remarks, clearly veering away from his handlers’ script.

“And, what happened was Barack [Obama] said to me: ‘Go to Detroit — help fix it.’”

The next day, the White House’s correction implied that Biden intended to say “recession,” referencing the Great Recession when he assumed the vice presidency in 2009.

Clearly, this is what the handlers had planned for Biden to read from their script on the teleprompter.

The transcript reads:

“And when I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic [recession], and what happened was Barack said to me, ‘Go to Detroit and help fix it.’

“Well, poor mayor, he spent more time with me than he ever thought he was going to have to.”

Other fixed gaffes included Biden claiming that families saved $800,000 per year from the Affordable Care Act and insisting that he’s fighting corporate landlords who “keep rents down.”

He also incorrectly called the group he was addressing “the NAAC.”

Biden also mispronounced the word “inspiring” as “inspiresing.”

In a more embarrassing flub, Biden attempted to attack Trump by smearing him and his supporters as “insurrectionists.”

However, Biden flubbed the word and mispronounced it as “erectionists.”

These words were corrected in the transcript.

In a statement about the corrections, Acting Deputy Press Secretary Sam Michel said:

“We’re focused on the substance of the transcript and the heart of President Biden’s speech: how he is fighting for Americans by lowering the cost of prescription drugs, making transformational investments in HBCUs, and protecting Medicare and Social Security.”

Biden’s gaffes have been on full display recently as the president has begun making more campaign event stops.

In the space of just one week in April, Biden made no fewer than four embarrassing or controversial comments.

That included Biden appearing to repeat script instructions while reading a teleprompter.

“Imagine what we could do next,” he slurred.

“Four more years, pause.”

As Biden squinted to read out the comments from the teleprompter, the audience suspiciously began chanting, “Four more years.”

Audience members could be heard laughing after his comment, but Biden continued, seemingly not noticing the mistake.

He even appeared surprised when the crowd started chanting as though he was completely unaware of what he had just said.
