Bill Barr Accuses Media of ‘Corruption,’ Promoting ‘Progressive Ideology’

Former Attorney General has accused America’s corporate media of “corruption” in the pursuit of promoting “progressive ideology.”

In his new book, “One Damn Thing After Another,” Barr says the media has been pushing propaganda for the political left, which became radicalized during President Obama’s second term.

Barr compares the social justice issues to “the same kind of revolutionary and totalitarian ideas that propelled the French Revolution, the Communists of the Russian Revolution and the fascists of 20th-century Europe.”

Barr also blasts the false story about Russia and the Trump campaign in 2016, which was actively promoted by the media.

“The matter that really required investigation,” he said.

“How did the phony Russiagate scandal get going, and why did the F.B.I leadership handle the matter in such an inexplicable and heavy-handed way?”

Barr claimed President Donald Trump would have won re-election in 2020 if he had “just exercised a modicum of self-restraint, moderating even a little of his pettiness.”

Barr also attacked Trump and said the GOP needs to find a younger leader in 2024.

Barr writes that Trump “has shown he has neither the temperament nor persuasive powers” of a leader.

“We need leaders not only capable of fighting and ‘punching,’ but also persuading and attracting — leaders who can frame, and advocate for, an uplifting vision of what it means to share in American citizenship,” Barr writes.

“He stopped listening to his advisers, became manic and unreasonable, and was off the rails.

“He surrounded himself with sycophants, including many whack jobs from outside the government, who fed him a steady diet of comforting but unsupported conspiracy theories.”

“Donald Trump has shown he has neither the temperament nor persuasive powers to provide the kind of positive leadership that is needed,” Barr added.

“The election was not ‘stolen.’

“Trump lost it,” Barr alleges.
