Microsoft co-founder and leading green agenda advocate Bill Gates openly gloats about owning a fleet of private jets, describing the luxury planes as his “guilty pleasure.”
Despite being one of the most vocal “climate change” activists, Gates now owns four private jets.
For several years, Gates has been one of the most prominent figures in advancing the globalist “Net Zero” agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations (UN).
However, the billionaire has come under mounting scrutiny for his use of private jets, one of the biggest contributors to the alleged “climate crisis.”
But according to Gates, his own carbon-spewing jet-setting lifestyle is justified because he uses his vast wealth and influence to demand that the general public lowers their standard of living to “save the planet” from “global warming.”
In 1997, Gates joined the ranks of the billionaire elite and purchased his first jet, a Bombardier Challenger 604.
The lavish plane cost approximately $21 million at the time.
This business jet provided Gates the flexibility and convenience he required for his extensive global travels, aligning him with other business magnates who had recognized the value of private jets.
As reported by Simple Flying, Gates now owns an impressive fleet of at least four business jets.
Valued at close to $200 million, his collection includes the elite Gulfstream G650.
Beyond ownership, he also runs a private aviation management company.
He has channeled substantial investments into the largest business jet service provider globally.
Lately, Gates’s use of private jets has drawn scrutiny in conjunction with his vocal climate activism.
Euro News reported he took 392 flights on private jets last year.
The billionaire often uses the jets to fly to climate summits or give speeches about global warming, prompting allegations of hypocrisy.
In a February 2023 interview with BBC, when asked about the perceived contradiction, Gates defended his position.
He argued that his efforts to promote the globalist green agenda were enough justification for his to use the heavily polluting jets, as Slay News reported at the time.
Gates told the BBC that he gets a free pass for using private jets because he’s “the solution” to “climate change.”
While defending his use of the panes, Gates gloats that his jets are his “guilty pleasure.”
He insists that his proactive measures in climate activism more than offset his personal “carbon footprint.”
However, Gates’s willingness to excuse his own private jet use likely indicates his true feelings about the so-called “climate crisis.”
As Slay News reported, Gates recently admitted that the whole “climate change” narrative is a hoax.
Gates spoke at a live event at The Times Center in New York and argued:
“If you try to do climate brute force, you will get people who say, ‘I like climate but I don’t want to bear that cost and reduce my standard of living.’”
“No temperate country is going to become inhabitable,” Gates admitted.
He also dismissed ideas for planting trees to save the planet.
“Are we the science people or are we the idiots?” he said.
“Which one do we want to be?”
He made the comments shortly after Slay News first reported about Gates’s effort to chop down trees.
Gates is funding a new project that seeks to chop down a staggering 70 million acres of trees to allegedly “fight global warming.”
Gates’s organization, Breakthrough Energy, has plowed $6.6 million into the project led by Kodama Systems.
The move will see 70m acres of forests, mostly in the Western United States, cut down.
After the trees have been chopped down, they will be buried.
According to the project organizers, “scientists” say “burying trees can reduce global warming.”
Kodama claims that burying the trees will prevent them from allegedly “spewing” carbon back into the air.
