Bill Gates Squirms While Getting Grilled over Epstein Relationship

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates squirmed uncomfortably during a new interview where he was grilled over his relationship with deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Gates, the world’s sixth richest man, appeared on ABC’s “7.30” show on Monday night with host Sarah Ferguson during his visit to Australia.

While talking about global issues such as “climate change” and artificial intelligence, the interview quickly turned awkward when Ferguson suddenly dropped the hammer on Gates.

“One of the issues that has dogged you is that of your relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,” Ferguson said to Gates.

“Do you regret the relationship that you maintained with him against (ex-wife) Melinda’s advice and wishes?” she asked.

Gates seemed somewhat taken aback as he replied: “You’re going way back in time, but, yeah…”

“New audience,” Ferguson cut in.

“But I will say for the over a hundredth time that, yeah, I shouldn’t have had dinners with him,” Gates added.

According to the New York Times, Gates met with pedophile Epstein on numerous occasions from 2011.

Three years earlier, Epstein was jailed for child sex crimes.

Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage girl in Florida.

At the time, accusations he exploited dozens more underage girls and young women were widely reported in the press.

In September 2013, Bill and his then-wife Melinda Gates met with Epstein at his Upper East Side mansion in New York.

Melinda later said she immediately disliked him, reported The Daily Beast.

She then told friends that he made her uncomfortable and warned her husband to stay away from him.

As Slay News previously reported, Melinda Gates has admitted that Bill’s relationship with Epstein was one of the reasons they divorced, describing the disgraced pedophile as “evil personified.”

On Monday night’s interview, Ferguson continued to push the topic.

“Epstein had a way of sexually compromising people,” she said to Gates as he squirmed in his chair.

“Is that what Melinda was warning you about?” the host asked.

“No. I had dinner with him and that’s all,” Gates replied.

“And that you regret the relationship, the acquittance?” Ferguson followed up.

“That I had dinner with him, yes,” Gates replied, nervously glancing into the camera.

Ferguson then asked if he regretted any link between Epstein and his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – the vehicle through which he carries out his philanthropic efforts.

“There never was any relationship of any kind,” he responded.

The pair’s relationship seems to have fizzled by 2014.

The New York Times notes that Epstein had complained to friends by that point that Gates stopped speaking to him.
