Across the country, black voters are making a historical shift to President Donald Trump and away from the Democrats, according to a new report.
There was a time when former President Barack Obama was not only the most popular Democrat in existence but also wielded profound influence with black voters.
That has now shifted significantly.
While that’s shocking on its own, it’s even more eye-opening to learn that black voters are gravitating toward Trump.
The gravitation toward Trump among black voters is happening across the country, particularly in otherwise safe, blue cities and areas.
The Trump campaign knows it has a newfound base of support among black voters, especially younger men.
One prime example of black voters pulling away from Harris and toward Trump is what’s happening in Philadelphia.
In the critical swing state, the outlet noted several black voters who are pulling for Trump.
A recent Howard University poll revealed:
The survey found Trump’s gains were most prominent among black men under 50, with more than 20% planning to support the former president.
While anecdotal, one can simply take a scroll through social media, virtually all platforms, and find video after video of young black men voicing their support for the 45th president.
MSNBC added:
This week, Alex Wagner sat down with a group of black Trump supporters in the battleground state of Pennsylvania who call themselves the “Black Republicans Club of Philadelphia.”
One of the group’s members, Dr. Prince Johnakin, told MSNBC:
“We’re voting for Donald Trump unequivocally, period.”
“No one else is going to persuade us,” Johnakin added.
“We’re two weeks out, and we won’t sleep until Nov. 6.”
“He’s more strong, strong-minded in a way,” group member Natalie Garcia told the outlet.
“He’s focused on what we gotta focus on. He doesn’t play — that’s what I respect about him.
“He always just stands for what he believes and he doesn’t go back, no matter how many people are bashing him.”
Pastor Philip Fisher, another member of the group, said he likes Trump’s businessman-like style.
“He’s not gonna hear it,” Fisher said.
“He’s a businessman.
“He’s not there for the fluff talk of politics.
“We need someone strong.
“We need someone who’s gonna get down to business and take care of what this country needs.
“But also understands what the community needs.”
As Slay News reported earlier, MSNBC published a surprising interview with black voters who shared their opinions of Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
The group revealed that they won’t vote for Vice President Harris in the critical 2024 election.
They cited Harris’s lack of confidence and said they don’t feel safe having a president who would be too afraid to stand up to tough foreign leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I don’t wanna be scared because my president is scared,” one of the women told Wagner.
Some in the group appeared angry that Harris was claiming to be black to win support from African American voters.
“We all know she’s not black,” another woman chimed in.
“Let’s understand that. We are all clear of that.”
WATCH:
It’s no wonder the Harris campaign is scrambling to get the attention and support of the black community.
They know they’re losing it.
Only time will tell if Trump pulls out the ultimate victory, but if he does, it’ll be even more interesting to see the voter demographic data.
