BLM Leader: ‘Slightly Racist to Be a Taylor Swift Fan’

One of the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter organization has declared being a fan of pop singer Taylor Swift makes a person “slightly racist.”

The comment about Swift was made by BLM leader Melina Abdullah, a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State University Los Angeles.

The news will come as a major blow for Democrat President Joe Biden and his 2024 campaign, however.

As Slay News reported, the Democrats have been planning to deploy Swift to boost the president’s popularity among voters.

Biden’s team intends to use Swift as a Democratic Party operative to tout leftist policies to her fans.

The plan seeks to use Swift’s massive social media following to help the unpopular incumbent win in November.

The New York Times reported the Biden campaign is laying out a strategy for Swift to blast young people with pro-Biden propaganda on social media.

The plan involves Swift and other influential celebrities persuading their fans that Trump and Republicans in general as opposed to individual liberty and a danger to the republic, the Times reported.

However, these plans may come unstuck if another key Democrat base, the BLM crowd, believes that it’s “slightly racist” to like Swift.

Abdullah made the comments in a post on X during the Super Bowl, according to The College Fix.

The comment prompted a lively debate on the platform as Swift attended the game to watch her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce, help lead his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, to victory.

Abdullah also wrote on X after the game, in response to the San Francisco 49ers loss:

“Why do I feel like this was some right-wing, white-supremacist conspiracy?!?! Booooooo!!!!”

“Folks think they’re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist…I’m not offended,” she wrote in another post that day after her comments garnered attention.

“Virtually everything is racist.”

Abdullah also revealed that “too many American flags” gives her a racist “feeling.”

Professor Abdullah’s faculty bio describes her as “a womanist scholar-activist – understanding the role that she plays in the academy as intrinsically linked to broader struggles for the liberation of oppressed people.”

Abdullah is listed as a co-founder of Black Lives Matter’s Los Angeles chapter and co-director of Black Lives Matter Grassroots, the activist wing of the controversial advocacy organization.

34-year-old Swift is coming off a career year in which she sold out global arenas and took the box office by storm.

She has also been heavily pushed by the NFL and sports networks while attending Kansas City Chiefs games to watch tight end Travis Kelce, whom she is dating.

Swift, a Pennsylvania native, endorsed Biden on her social media accounts in October 2020.

The NFL’s recent push of Swift coverage has led many to suspect that it is part of a psyop to promote Biden to football fans.

As Slay News reported, the corporate media has been ramping up wall-to-wall its coverage of Swift as she prepares to make her official endorsement of Biden’s 2024 campaign.

In an apparent effort to win over football fans for the Democrats, the sport has become dominated by reports on Swift and her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

The pop singer has attended several of the tight end’s NFL games and has become the main focus of the liberal media’s attention, being shown on broadcasts watching on from her VIP suites.

This campaign culminated during the Super Bowl, with media coverage of Swift almost drowning out the event.
