Candace Owens Slams ‘Sick’ CDC for Pushing ‘Unconstitutional’ Mask Mandates: ‘These People’ Belong ‘Behind Bars’

Political activist Candace Owens has unleashed her full fury on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), declaring that the public health agency’s “sick” officials belong “behind bars.”

Owens, a best-selling author and talk show host, was responding to a Trump-appointed federal judge lifting the CDC’s mask mandate for all public transportation.

As Slay News first reported Monday, U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle ruled against the CDC’s requirement for all people traveling on airplanes and other public transportation to wear a mask.

The judge ruled that the mandate was unconstitutional and beyond the authority bestowed on the U.S. Health officials.

Following the announcement, the Transportation Security Administration agreed to abide by the ruling and said it would no longer enforce the mandate.

However, Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration was outraged by the decision and has vowed to appeal the ruling.

Owens appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show to discuss the mask mandate being lifted.

While relieved that the judge had lifted the mandate, Owens was enraged that the government agencies had gotten away with enforcing mandates that “broke the law.”

She unloaded on the CDC, the FDA, the Biden administration, and every other government agency that helped support mask mandates and lockdowns.

“These are utterly sick, mentally unstable people who want people to suffer out of sport, out of sheer sport,” a visibly furious Owens blasted.

“We obviously know the science does not make sense, it never makes sense.

“Talk about science ever-shifting.

“That’s exactly what the CDC specializes in, making up things as they go along like they are actually ‘Simon Says’ in the child’s game.

“And you know what, it is sad to me to see so many flight attendants celebrating and people that are in the seats because you realize people have just been suffering, fearful they’re gonna go to prison.”

WATCH:

“Imagine having a federal charge because you didn’t wear a mask over your face,” Owens added.

“We watched children suffer.

“We watched special needs kids get kicked off a plane for their inability to keep their masks on their face, as well as young kids, two years old, crying and screaming, not understanding why they’re being made to wear a mask.

“And this is really just happening in America.

“By the way, I’ve traveled all across Europe.

“They’ve all released the mass mandate,” she noted.

“This is not based on science.

“This is just based on control.

“The government took power.

“They don’t want to give it back.”

Owens continued by noting that, while the ruling was a step in the right direction, people need to be held accountable.

“I don’t feel like this is a win because we shouldn’t be cheering on the restoration of our basic human rights,” she said.

“We should be infuriated.

“And we should want to see these people face consequences because guess what, Tucker, the CDC broke the law.

“That’s what the ruling says. It was unconstitutional.

“Similarly, OSHA broke the law.

“They were trying to overreach and decided they could do things that they had entirely no power to do.

“When regular people break the law, Tucker, they go to prison.

“Why is [CDC director] Rochelle Walensky and the CDC and the members of the FDA and the drug cartel that’s operating our country any exception to that rule?

“It’s unacceptable, and I’m not going to cheer until these people are behind bars.”
