A Chicago area woman has been charged with threatening to shoot President Donald Trump and his 17-year-old son, Barron.
41-year-old Tracy Marie Fiorenza reportedly sent emails threatening to shoot President Trump and his son “straight in the face at any opportunity that I get.”
Fiorenza has been charged with one federal count of transmitting threats to kill or injure another person in interstate commerce.
“I will shoot Donald Trump Sr. AND Barron Trump straight in the face at any opportunity that I get!” she wrote in May, according to an affidavit from a Secret Service agent.
“I am going to slam a bullet in Baron (sic) Trump’s head with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!” she wrote in June.
She was contacted by the U.S. Secret Service and met with agents for a voluntary interview.
Fiorenza confirmed to authorities that she intentionally wrote and sent the threatening emails.
