Chris Rock Warns ‘Stupid’ Democrats Against Trump Arrest: ‘Will Make Him More Popular’

Comedian Chris Rock has warned the Democrats against their plan to arrest President Donald Trump this week.

Rock was in Washington D.C. for an event honoring actor Adam Sandler and warned the audience full of leading Democrats against the anti-Trump effort.

He blasted the move as “stupid” and said going through with it would only make Trump “more popular.”

Rock said to a crowd of top Democrats and Biden officials: “Are you guys really going to arrest Trump?

“Do you know this is only going to make him more popular?

“It’s like arresting Tupac.

“He’s just gonna sell more records. Are you stupid?

“Trump f*cked a porn star and paid off someone so his wife couldn’t find out. That’s romantic.

“We’ve all been cheated on,” Rock said.

“Don’t you wish that the person that cheated on you paid off somebody so you wouldn’t find out?”

The grand jury in the case meets today.

However, they will hear a surprise witness who will testify for Trump, as Slay News reported.

Michael Cohen’s former attorney, Robert Costello, will testify on Trump’s behalf today.

Cohen will also testify to try to refute what Costello will say.

Trump said:

“Just reported that the most important witness (Robert Costello) to go before the new york city grand jury, a highly respected lawyer who once represented convicted felon, jailbird, and serial fake storyteller and liar, Michael Cohen, will be doing so tomorrow afternoon.

“The information he will present will supposedly be conclusive and irrefutable! witch hunt.”

After hearing all the evidence today, the grand jurors will begin deliberations.

A charging decision could come as early as today.
