CNN’s “medical analyst” Dr. Leana Wen has admitted that the numbers for Covid deaths and hospitalizations have been vastly overcounted by the U.S. government.
Wen made the admission in a Tuesday op-ed in The Washington Post.
She argues the U.S. has been massively exaggerating Covid deaths by recording people who died with COVID-19 as dying from the virus.
She also appeared on CNN and admitted that the US government has been vastly overcounting the data.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared Wen’s op-ed on Twitter, noting that people have been raising the alarm about the data for some time but have been silenced.
“A year ago, this was a conspiracy theory that would get you censored…” he said.
Kennedy’s statement has been retweeted thousands of times.

In May 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its numbers for Covid deaths.
The CDC changed the data to show that only 5% of all deaths related to COVID-19 were Covid-only deaths.
A report from the CDC shows that, currently, the number of deaths that are caused by Covid alone is actually just 5%.
However, the actual number may be even fewer because the CDC shares that there may be “a lack of detail” about the other conditions that contributed to the death.
