CNN’s New Owners Find ‘Skeletons’ in Closet: Executives and Anchors ‘Coordinated Daily with Adam Schiff during Trump’s Impeachments’

Jon Nicosia, President of News Cycle Media, has another scoop about the changes coming to CNN. Nicosia must have sources with the new owner because he has been right with every story he reports and he has been weeks ahead of his competitors.

He called the CNN Plus debacle. He started reporting the new owners at Discovery were not happy with CNN’s direction and said CNN Plus and the more partisan hosts would not last long. Nicosia pointed out that the majority shareholder of CNN’s new parent company is billionaire Trump donor John Malone.

Nicosia reported: “A Discovery board member on the @CNNplus mess. ‘It’s emblematic of how Zucker used CNN as his private playground and political operation masquerading as a news channel’

“They continue ‘that non-news apparatus and its members will be jettisoned like CNN+ in the coming days,’” Jon said.

Now he is reporting on some skeletons in CNN’s closet and he said there will be more embarrassing admissions about the unethical behavior of some at CNN.

He reported:

“SOURCE: With the Discovery team coming in “@CNN’s skeletons are starting to fall out” – One big one is “Upper mgmt (and Anchors) coordinated daily with Rep. Adam Schiff during Trump’s Impeachment(s)”

“They continue “This about 1000 miles outside journalistic ethics.”

Chris Wallace is finally talking about his epic fall from grace at CNN’s streaming service.

“Two weeks ago, streaming was king,” Wallace said. “Now suddenly streaming is in an ICU on life support. I have absolutely no idea which is right and which is wrong, but the Discovery people are in charge and so they’ve made the decision.”

He continued: “I’m in good shape, whether it’s CNN or someplace else.

“Frankly, what I’m mostly concerned about right now, and very, is my team and hundreds of other people that had jobs at CNN+.

“Some of them had left CNN to go to streaming.

“Some of them had left other places, moved across the country.

“And so, I think you’re seeing a lot of the anchors at CNN+ doing everything they can to protect the people that were working on their team and to make sure they either get a safe landing at CNN or someplace else,” Wallace said.

Staffers at CNN Plus were offered six months’ severance as well as first dibs on job opportunities within CNN, sources told the New York Post. The sources also said people were not happy:

“The big people will likely be saved, but what about everybody else, the people who do the real work?

“Everyone is aghast and furious. The irony is that Zaslav came in a few weeks ago and told the CNN+ staff they would soon be running the world, ahead of CNN anchors on TV.

“This literally rivals the epic disaster of Quibi,” a source said.
