A meat factory in Colorado has been hit with allegations of “management-led human trafficking” by a labor union.
The United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) has accused the JBS SA meat processing plant in Greeley of “trafficking” migrants from Haiti.
The UFCW has urged federal, state, and local authorities to investigate the Brazilian food company JBS SA over the allegations.
Similar accusations have been made regarding human trafficking networks exploiting migrants at factories in Springfield, Ohio, and Charleroi, Pennsylvania.
The allegations revolve around the thousands of Haitian migrants who were imported into the United States by the Biden-Harris administration.
UFCW Local 7 President Kim Cordova said the migrants from Haiti and other foreign nations were transported into the country legally
However, they were immediately exploited for cheap labor in an alleged human trafficking scheme, according to Cordova.
In a press statement shared on social media by UFCW Local 7, the union said:
“Information gathered from UFCW Local 7 members who work at the JBS plant in Greeley […] includes numerous cases of abusive practices both within and outside of the workplace, including management-led human trafficking utilizing the social media platform TikTok; charging immigrant workers for company-provided rent in squalor conditions, job applications, and transportation; threats and intimidation against workers and their families abroad; dangerously high production line speeds; and withholding mail including medical bills and important paperwork.”

“As many as 500 or more Haitian and Benin workers, who are in the country legally through work visas or asylum, may have been subject to potential crimes and workplace violations,” UFCW explained.
“The company knew about these tactics – and in fact paid for workers to live in squalor conditions at a local motel – and turned a blind eye until they were questioned by the press,” said Cordova.
“One of the main individuals involved in this terrible treatment is still employed by JBS.”
The union revealed that numerous hiring managers outside the company were involved in the scheme.
In other words, staffing companies likely served as labor mules.
The migrants were trafficked from their homes and transported to factories in vans.
JBS’s Greeley plant is located just an hour from the Democrat-controlled “sanctuary” city of Denver.
Meanwhile, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has been forced to deploy state troopers to tackle the chaos in Haitian migrant-flooded Springfield, as Slay News reported.
When President Donald Trump raised the issues caused by 20,000 Haitian migrants being dumped in the town of fewer than 60,000, Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris dismissed the warnings as “unbelievable and extreme.”
However, the influx of Haitian migrants in Springfield has been causing bedlam for local residents.
DeWine ordered State Highway Patrol troopers to go to Springfield to address traffic problems caused by Haitian immigrants in the city, according to the Associated Press.
The town has seen a huge spike in road traffic accidents due to migrants driving without licenses.
In the next two years, DeWine will also allocate $2.5 million to expand healthcare access.
