The suspect behind the terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday night has been confirmed as an illegal alien.
An Egyptian national who entered the U.S. under the Biden administration is now accused of carrying out what authorities are calling a “targeted terror attack.”
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, allegedly targeted peaceful pro-Israel demonstrators demanding Hamas release innocent hostages.
According to witnesses, Soliman was yelling “Free Palestine” while setting his victims on fire.
Soliman reportedly entered the U.S. legally on a tourist visa in August 2022 but never left.
Homeland Security and ICE sources have now confirmed that Soliman overstayed his visa.
Yet, despite his illegal status, he was later granted a work permit under the Biden administration’s lax immigration policies.
Even though he was in the country illegally, Soliman remained on U.S. soil for over a year.
He now stands accused of launching a violent, ideologically motivated assault.
The alleged attack took place against a group called “Run for Their Lives.”
The grassroots organization is dedicated to raising awareness and demanding the release of Israeli hostages taken by the Gaza-based terrorist group Hamas.
The group regularly gathers on Pearl Street in Boulder and was doing so when Soliman launched his attack.
He was reportedly shouting “Free Palestine” while attacking civilians near the county courthouse.
According to police, Soliman used a weapon to set people on fire.
Eight people — ages 52 to 88 — were injured and hospitalized, with one in critical condition.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller condemned the Biden administration’s role in allowing Soliman to remain in the country unchecked.
“A terror attack was committed in Boulder, Colorado by an illegal alien,” Miller posted on X.
“He was granted a tourist visa by the Biden Administration, and then he illegally overstayed that visa.
“In response, the Biden Administration gave him a work permit.
“Suicidal migration must be fully reversed.”
According to federal records, Soliman was supposed to leave the U.S. by February 2, 2023.
Instead, he applied for immigration benefits on September 9, 2022, and was granted a work permit in March 2023, valid through this year.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino confirmed the attack is being treated as an act of “ideologically motivated violence” based on initial evidence and witness reports.
Soliman was arrested Sunday night and booked into the Boulder County Jail.
Authorities have not yet released the formal charges.
Biden administration officials have not commented on the matter, despite growing outrage over their immigration enforcement failures.
