Cops Raid Home of Democrat Official in Connection with Reporter’s Murder in Las Vegas

Police have raided the home of a Democrat official during the investigation into the gruesome murder of a reporter.

Las Vegas police confirmed that a search warrant was served Wednesday morning at the home of Democrat Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles.

The raid is in connection with the murder of Jeff German who worked for the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

69-year-old German was brutally killed outside his home the other day.

German was found stabbed to death outside of his home on Saturday morning, September 3.

However, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said he was killed on Friday morning but not discovered until the next day.

German had written critical stories about Telles before the primary race that he recently lost.

Local news outlet CBS8 revealed that Telles made several posts on Twitter where he refers to German.

In one tweet on June 18, he wrote:

“Looking forward to lying smear piece #4 by @JGermanRJ. #onetrickpony I think he’s mad that I haven’t crawled into a hole and died. @LVRJ #LasVegas”

In another tweet on the same day, he wrote:

“Wife hears rustling in the trash* Her: ‘Honey, is there a wild animal in the trash?’ Me: ‘No, dear. Look like it’s @JGermanRJ going through our trash for his 4th story on me.’ Oh, Jeff @LVRJ #LasVegas”

Shortly before 9 a.m., police said they were serving search warrants in the 7200 block of Bronze Circle, where the killing occurred.

“No further information will be provided at this time,” police said in a statement.
