Country Music Legend John Rich Launches Anti-Woke, Pro-America Bank Called ‘Old Glory’

Country music star John Rich teamed up with Larry Elder and Ben Carson to purchase the First State Bank of Elmore City, Oklahoma, and relaunch it as a pro-America, anti-woke financial institution.

They added a fitting new name too: Old Glory Bank.

“It’s been dismaying to see the political weaponization of the financial system,” Rich said.

“Old Glory Bank was created to be the full banking solution for folks who still believe in freedom and the greatness of America.”

According to a press release, “Old Glory Bank states it will be the first chartered bank to openly support America, its flag, freedom, patriotism, the military, and first responders.

“Old Glory Bank promises it will never cancel law-abiding customers for their beliefs or for exercising their lawful rights of free speech.

“One of the many features of Old Glory Bank will be its charitable round-up program where customers have the option to ’round-up’ to the nearest dollar each time they use their Old Glory Bank cards.”

Ben Carson said, “Old Glory Bank will serve lower- and middle-income Americans and those Americans that other banks have marginalized and ignored, hard-working patriots who keep this country running every day.”

The bank’s website says: “Finally, the bank that stands with you.

“Old Glory Bank, the bank for the hard-working Americans who make this country run every day.

“The bank for people who believe in love of country, respect for the flag, and appreciate the military, law enforcement, and first responders.

“We stand with you. No matter where you stand.

“The bank that values your values. Freedom. Privacy. Security. Life and liberty.

“These are the values that are woven into the fabric of this great nation.

“Old Glory Bank is for people who believe in the principles that made America strong.

“Old Glory Bank shares your values.

“Your beliefs should never be marginalized.

“Old Glory Bank, formerly known as First State Bank, was established in 1903, and on December 27, 1907, became the first bank to be issued a charter from the Oklahoma State Banking Department.

“Steeped in deep ties to community and small-town values, Old Glory Bank will bring the best mobile banking solutions across this great nation of ours.

“We’re a real bank—not just an app.

“While our beliefs are traditional, our technology is leading edge.

“We’re the perfect bank for the times,” the website says.

“The term ‘Old Glory’ has long been an endearing reference to America’s great flag.

“In 1824, Sea Captain William Driver from Salem, Massachusetts, named his flag ‘Old Glory’ because, to him, it represented everything that was glorious about America.

“We named ourselves Old Glory Bank because we, too, believe in everything that makes America glorious.

“Freedom. Family. Community. A respect for the military. A respect for Law and Order.”
