Curt Schilling Shreds Green Day Singer for Renouncing US Citizenship over SCOTUS: ‘Don’t Let the Door Hit You in the A**’

Former star  MLB pitcher Curt Schilling fired back at Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong after the musician vowed to renounce his U.S. citizenship over the Supreme Court’s Roe vs. Wade ruling.

At a concert in England, Armstrong yelled to the crowd “f*ck America.”

During an angry and ill-informed rant, Armstrong promised that he would be “renouncing his citizenship” in the aftermath of the SCOTUS abortion ruling.

“There’s too much f*cking stupid in the world,” Armstrong said.

“F*ck the Supreme Court of America” he added before he played the hit song American Idiot.

“Oh, I’m not kidding, you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days,” he told the crowd.

He then pledged to leave the United States and move to the United Kingdom.

However, Europe, including the U.K., has much stricter abortion laws than the U.S., especially in California where Armstrong currently resides.

Enter Curt Schilling, who appeared unmoved by Armstrong’s threats.

“Don’t let the door hit you in the a** on the way out champ,” Schilling said on Twitter.

Armstrong has a long history of making leftist political statements.

In 2016, Armstrong attacked President Donald Trump and his supporters, saying:

“The worst problem I see about Trump is who his followers are.

“I actually feel bad for them, because they’re poor, working-class people who can’t get a leg up.

“They’re pissed off and he’s preyed on their anger.

“He just said, ‘You have no options and I’m the only one, and I’m going to take care of it myself.’

“I mean, that’s f*cking Hitler, man!”
