Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has sent a powerful message to the nation before today’s NFL games.
Hamlin’s recovery has been a near miracle and has captivated a nation.
The football star shocked fans everywhere when he collapsed mid-game after suffering a cardiac arrest on the field.
Hamlin expressed his gratitude to all who prayed for him in his first statement last night.
Before the games today, he said: “GameDay. Nothing I Want More Than To Be Running Out That Tunnel With My Brothers.
“God Using Me In A Different Way Today.
“Tell Someone You Love Them Today! Let’s go @BuffaloBills.”
Responding to a social media post from the team showing Bills star quarterback Josh Allen wearing Hamlin’s number on a sweatshirt with the caption’ “17 reppin’ for 3. #LoveForDamar. #ForDamar,” Hamlins said simply:
“That’s My Quarterback.”

Hamlin said last night in a series of posts, his first since collapsing on the field Monday:
“The love is felt, & extremely real. No matter race or religion everybody coming together in prayer!
“Putting love into the world comes back 3xs as much.
“Thankful for everyone who has reached out and prayed.
“This will make me stronger on the road to recovery, keep praying for me.”
