A former Democratic National Committee (DNC) official has blown the whistle to expose the true nature of former President Joe Biden’s term in the White House.
According to former DNC member Lindy Li, Biden’s presidency was actually a front for Barack Obama’s “third term” in office.
Li has been making headlines following the 2024 election.
The DNC insider has openly criticized the Democratic Party and the Kamala Harris campaign for spending over a billion dollars without accountability.
Li, who has been vocal about the Democratic Party’s failures, recently appeared on the Shawn Ryan Show.
During the show, she made a striking claim to confirm who was really running the Biden administration.
Host Shawn Ryan asked Li about speculation surrounding the true leadership behind Biden’s administration.
Ryan noted that many Americans suspected figures like Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders were influencing Biden’s presidency.
However, as Ryna noted, the overwhelming belief was that Obama was still in control.
“A lot of people say it was Obama’s third term,” Ryan said.
“There’s rumors of… And these aren’t even…
“These are friends of mine that are moderate Democrats, say that they thought it was Elizabeth Warren running it.
“They thought it was Bernie Sanders running it.
“But I think the general consensus, I think if you asked the majority of the population, they think it was Obama’s third term.”
Li agreed without hesitation.
“It was for sure Obama’s third term,” she responded.
“I don’t think that’s even a question.”
She continued, explaining that Obama’s heavy involvement in the 2024 election was due to his desire to secure his own legacy.
“That’s why you saw Obama fighting for his dear life,” she said.
“Why was he fighting so hard in the fall?
“Because he was fighting for his fourth term.
“He was fighting for his own legacy”
Li also compared the dynamic between Obama and Biden to the historical relationship between John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson.
She suggests that Biden was largely a figurehead while the real power resided elsewhere.
Li did not stop at naming Obama as the real power behind the Biden administration.
She also pointed to members of Biden’s inner circle, specifically mentioning:
- Anita Dunn, senior advisor and longtime Democratic strategist
- Ron Klain, Biden’s former Chief of Staff
- Others within Biden’s White House team who maintained deep ties to the Obama administration

Her remarks reinforced long-standing speculation that key figures from Obama’s presidency were still calling the shots behind the scenes.
Li’s comments come amid growing frustration within the Democratic Party over the 2024 election results.
With the Harris campaign failing despite massive financial backing, many Democrats have been demanding answers on where the money went.
The Obamas, who fully backed Harris, suffered a major political defeat in the election, marking one of the biggest losses of their political careers.
As Li continues to publicly criticize her own party, her revelations add fuel to the debate over who was really running the Biden administration and why Democrats failed so spectacularly in 2024.
