A Democrat judge has dismissed the charges against 71 pro-Hamas protestors who were arrested at Arizona State University Campus in April.
However, these people weren’t simply supporting peace, or even civilians in Gaza.
According to Breitbart, they were there to support HAMAS, not innocent people.
Justice of the Peace Tyler Kissell ruled that the cases were to be dismissed without prejudice.
The judge issued his decision at the University Lakes Justice Court in Chandler, Arizona.
Kissell dismissed charges filed against 71 protesters who were arrested.
However, those charged may face future prosecution if authorities file charges within the next year.
According to a spokesperson, the pro-Hamas protestors were all slapped with trespassing charges.
At the hearing in which the charges against all 71 people were dismissed, there was a rally of about 100 people outside the courthouse.
The rally was organized by the far-left group Mass Liberation Arizona.
The group’s stated goal is to “decarcerate Arizona by abolishing police and prisons.”
The group also openly supports the Hamas terrorist group.
Mass Liberation Arizona even goes so far as to make it clear that the group supports the terrorists and NOT the innocent people residing in Gaza:
“In solidarity with Palestine, we reject the blatantly racist, Islamophobic narrative that claims Hamas is a terrorist organization.
“We do not condemn Gazan resistance.”
Ironically, funding for the group comes from Jewish donors like billionaires Liz Simons and Mark Heising of the Heising-Simons Foundation.
Mass Liberation Arizona is a part of the California-based Mass Liberation Project, which receives funding through the Tides Foundation.
The Mass Liberation Fund is also reportedly financially backed by George Soros.
The defendants in the court hearing were “alleged to have set up an encampment on the Arizona State University (ASU) campus before their arrests.”
Arizona State University put out a statement as a result of the arrests:
“ASU Police arrested 72 people for trespassing after they set up an unauthorized encampment Friday, in violation of university policy.
“Encampments are prohibited on Arizona State University property.
“Lawful demonstrations can take place except overnight between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
“A group of people – most of whom were not ASU students, faculty or staff – created an encampment and demonstration that continued until well past 11 p.m. when the group was instructed repeatedly to disperse.
“Individuals who refused to leave after numerous warnings were arrested and charged with criminal trespass.
“Of the 72 arrested throughout the day Friday, 15 were ASU students; about 80 percent of those arrested were not students.
“While the university will continue to be an environment that embraces freedom of speech, ASU’s first priority is to create a safe and secure environment that supports teaching and learning.”
Despite the university’s apparent statement against the troublemakers, only 20 of the 71 defendants were suspended by the University after their arrest.
