Democrats Block Subpoena for Jeffrey Epstein’s Flight Logs

Democrats have blocked a request from Republican Sen Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) to subpoena the flight logs for deceased trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Blackburn, the Democrats’ effort to block the subpoena was led by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-IL).

Blackburn announced the move in a post on Twitter/X, saying:

“@SenatorDurbin BLOCKED my request to subpoena Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs.

“What are Democrats trying to hide?”

Blackburn later posted an update to X via a video message.

Blackburn slammed Durbin’s actions as a “sad day in the history of the prestigious Judiciary Committee.”

Blackburn also issued a follow-up statement that said:

“Senate Democrats have long been trying to undermine the Supreme Court and Justice Clarence Thomas, but want to ignore Justice Sotomayor allegedly using her taxpayer-funded staff to coordinate speaking engagements in exchange for selling and promoting thousands of her books.

“They also don’t want to have a conversation about the estate of Jeffrey Epstein to find out the names of every person who participated in Jeffrey Epstein’s human trafficking ring.”

She first moved for the flight records to be subpoenaed in early November, as Slay News reported.

“Since we’re in the business of issuing subpoenas now, here are a few more that I’ve filed,” Blackburn told the committee during a meeting in early November.

Blackburn brought up the flight logs while discussing possible subpoenas related to a Supreme Court ethics probe.

“A subpoena to Jeffrey Epstein’s estate to provide the flight logs for his private plane,” Blackburn said.

“Given the numerous allegations of human trafficking and abuse surrounding Mr. Epstein, we’ve got to identify everyone who could have participated in his horrific conduct.”

Epstein’s private jet was known as the “Lolita Express.”

It was used to fly underage girls to his private Caribbean island, also known as “Pedophile Island,” in addition to other locations around the world.

The plane had been fitted out with beds and private areas and was often used by Epstein’s high-profile friends and associates.

Several victims have stated that much of the abuse they suffered happened on the private jet.

Previously uncovered flight logs for the plane have revealed that former President Bill Clinton flew on the “Lolita Express” at least 26 times.

The flight logs also suggest that Clinton flew without his Secret Service detail on some of the flights.

Several of Epstein’s high-profile associates, including Bill Gates and Prince Andrew, maintained relationships with the Democrat financier even after he was jailed for child sex crimes.

In July 2019, Epstein pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy in a New York court.

He remained in custody in a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial.

Epstein was later found dead in his jail cell.
